Hi Veeru,
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) conducts Entrance Test. The entire test is in a MCQ mode and is conducted Online. Negative marking is also done for the wrong answered questions in the particular test. The Cutoff for the JNU test is generated after the commencement of the JNUET.After the declaration of the result, JNU starts the counselling process.
Hope it helps..!!
Good Luck...!!
Hey Maguluri,

Thankyou
Hi Aspirant,
It should not have happened because they firstly allot you seat according to your reservation. This happens when the seats under the BC-E quota are filled or something like that. Still wait for the next round if there is any, you might get upgraded.
Good Luck !!
Hello LVM Reddy
According to the previous year cutoff trends, you have a change of getting a seat in EEE branch in Anna University and Osmania University.
But the cutoff varies every year due to the paper difficulty level, no of students appearing for the exam and counselling and also the no of seats in the collgege.
Sit for the counselling and try your luck. Hope for the best.
Hope it helps you.
Hello Aspirant.
Going by the usual cutoff trend of JNTUK, I am sorry but you cannot get a seat in this university. Belonging to SC category won't be helpful either.
The cutoffs usually vary between 1-100 for JNTUK as it is one of the most sought after universities. So, you must be understanding that a rank of 2876 doesn't really come into consideration.
I would suggest you to try for other universities or colleges. If JNTUK is the only place that you want then you should give APICET another shot in the next year.
The colleges where you can get MBA with this rank are:-
Hope that helped.
All the best!
Hi Manikumar,
Firstly I congratulate you on securing the rank of 165 in PGCET 2019 entrance exam and now before I answer your question, please see the closing ranks for both JNTU, Kakinada and Andhra University, Visakhapatnam for PGCET 2019 admissions:
Andhra University:
(All ranks are for General Category candidates for Round 1)
JNTU, Kakinada:
Thus it can be concluded from the closing ranks that you have a high possibility of getting a seat at either of the colleges for M.Tech degree course.
BEST WISHES!
Hi Dumpala,
Please understand the fact that this query raised by you is a very complicated one as both are different domains of engineering and thus there is no point of comparison in between then as they are very different from each other.
The faculty of both the departments are very experienced and qualified and each of the departments has dedicated and proper labs for academic purposes at JNTU so both the departments impart a similar quality of education in both the fields.
What you need to understand is, Petroleum Engineering is specially the engineering study related to petroleum production such as drilling, mining, refining, etc and the companies for recruitment in this field are ONGC, HPCL, etc., whereas Chemical Engineering deals with the engineering studies of any and chemicals such as soft drinks, acids, industrial chemicals, chemical bombs, etc and the fields of placement include companies like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, 7Up, Police Department, etc.
BEST WISHES!

Hi Dhatri,
Firstly I congratulate you on securing 227th rank in AP ICET 2019 entrance exam and now to answer your question, in order to get a seat for MBA at JNTU, Kakinada the expected rank to be secured is below 100 and thus you have a low possibility of getting a seat at JNTU however there are other good colleges that are accepting AP ICET 2019 scores for admission into their MBA course where you should be able to get a seat.
