A good atmosphere people here are productive the seniors of our college help juniors as if “we have paid fees to them “.This quote shows the unity between the juniors and seniors and infact there is no ragging. The food in mess is very good and the facilities provided to live in the hostel is worth saying and talking about the teachers they are also awesome ,always ready to help each and every student .They clear all our doubts related o studies.Apart from these there are various clubs like sports, astronomy, technical, robotics, maths. All these club heads give chance to every student provided they have something in themselves and definitely the maths club session are the boon for engineers as one can develop their aptitude for placements.Various companies visited the college like HSBC,AMAZON,MICROSOFT etc. with average package of Rs.7 lakh in this branch. The companies head do come every year in the college and guide the students related to the scenario of the corporate world basically it is organized by the TPO of our college.Various practice sessions are conducted for the students regarding the rounds in placement and regarding the projects to be done in there third or fourth year so that they can add up to their resume.IEEE paper submission is compulsory for all the students and for them our Teachers do guide us .There are many students who are working with teachers to do research in various fields.

Our college has an expansive infrastructure of an area of almost 70 Acres. The library of our college boasts the accumulation of highly authoritative books covering almost all the subjects under the Umbrella of Law. The college offers the wide range of subjects that enhances our corporate exposure and also recommends us for various internships at the companies of corporate giants. Apart from academic activities, there is provision for various recreational activities and also biannual cultural, academic and sports fest. In conclusion National law University Jodhpur offers a balanced environment to its students for positive inner growth.

The campus has excellent classrooms and the building is strongly built. it has a placement cell, a student constituted the body. it could be more happening if restrictions are slightly loosed. I did not receive any reply from the college as of now. it lacks good hygienic conditions. all the faculties are exceptionally profound in their respective allotted subjects.

The college life is good because of the crowd. Seniors help a lot. Infrastructure needs to get developed a bit more like the library. Placements are decent, if you work hard enough, you'll get a job. The faculty is not nice. There are teachers who teach well but they are only a few. I strongly believe that this University needs qualified faculty.

NLUJ, Know it better

National Law University, Jodhpur which is one of the top NLU’s of India is located in Mandore on the outskirts of the city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. It is about 15 minutes’ drive from the main city to NLUJ. I am a student of the fifth semester in this college and I am writing this review to give an insight into the day to day life of an NLU student. It is a huge campus which has an administrative block, an acad block, an insurance block, a two storied library, a convention Centre, a cricket ground, a football field, a tennis court, a badminton court, and a barren stretch of land where the Convocation takes place every year. The campus has 8 boys' halls of residence and 5 girls' halls of residence. We have three messes; one purely vegetarian, the Ganga Mess; Sai Mess, which serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food and is like the conventional mess where you pay for the food once and have to eat what is being served. The RK Mess which also has a small canteen in the acad block serves decent food and satiates the hunger pangs of students during the classes. The timing for classes is from 8:30 in the morning to 3 PM; we have around 30-36 classes per week and no liberty is given with regard to attendance, each student has to fulfill the 70% criterion otherwise the administration debars the student. The students have to enter the college campus by 9:30 PM and the hostel timing is 11 PM for both boys and girls. Earlier, there was out pass system where each student was given 8 out passes per month by their respective warden which restricted the movement of students to the city. But with the help of the faculty members and also the fifth years, this practice of out pass system has been removed and now, the students do not have any restrictions on their movement which is a very progressive step keeping in mind the out-pass system was there for quite a long time. There is a book shop, a fruit and vegetable shop, an Amul parlor, a barber shop and a laundry shop to cater the daily needs of a student. There is also a gym for boys and girls on the first floor of RK mess, though we do not have a trainer. Recently, there have been Yoga and Zumba sessions on campus which are being attended by a number of students. We have the pretty gazebos to enjoy the cool evening breeze and the rains or simply, to sit and gossip. The college has 4 main committees; the ASLC (Academic Support and Literary Committee), the Moot Court Committee, the Cultural Committee and the Sports Committee. Annual interviews are held for the induction of students as members. We believe in the concept of unity in diversity and hence, every festival is it Eid, Janmashtmi, Lohri, Easter or Dandiya is celebrated with full enthusiasm. The fests of NLUJ are what the law students across the country look forward to; there is NH-65 which is a cultural fest and Yuvardha which is a sports fest. The fests bring around a number of students from various law colleges to the university over a span of 4 days, the last two days including the pre-after-party and the after party. The academic excellence of the university has begun to receive more and more praises with each culminating year. We have really great mooters who have gone for all the top International Moots across the world. Our university is recognized as the college with the best mooting experience nationally and is also ranked No.1 on the MPL (Mooting Premier League). The one negative thing about the college is the number of tests and projects in each subject which do not yield any good result but are merely a burden on the students and also deprive them of indulging in extra-curricular activities like writing research papers, articles etc. as due to paucity of time a student is left confused as what to do and what to skip. Talking about the faculty, we have experienced professors and most of them are Ph.D. holders. We have regular CREs (Court Room Exercises) which grooms the budding lawyers and a healthy competitive environment of the college helps in the overall development of a student.

The Holistic Law School Experience

I am currently a fifth-year student at National Law University, Jodhpur. My experience at the University has been incredible so far. NLU Jodhpur offers the students the choice and flexibility to pursue their interests. With respect to academics, unlike most universities, we have the option of choosing between different areas of specialization- intellectual property rights, business laws, trade and investment laws, criminal law, constitutional law. Apart from academics, there is a lot of focus activities such as mooting, debating, and writing, etc. The University also has adequate infrastructure for fine arts and sports pursuits. I’ve often heard many people complain about the quality of faculty. However, in my opinion, this problem is uniform across most law schools in the country and is not something specific to NLU, Jodhpur. In any case, we have a very united student body and alumni network. Therefore, there is never any shortage of assistance. We have a great campus culture with a lot of inter-university and intra-university activities each semester. NLU Jodhpur provides a very well-rounded law school experience.

Door to a Whole New World.

College life is something that is dreamed about by every student a long time before the start of this new stage of life. NLUJ has so far fulfilled many of mine and broken some. So, college is a place that you will be calling home for the next few years and the condition of residential facilities is a matter of great concern. My college scores tremendously well on that front and boasts of a sprawling campus with great hostels that provide single rooms to us right from our first year which is a rarity for colleges in India. Apart from that, the college has made arrangements that allow us the luxury of not having to go outside the campus for getting dry cleaning services, buying fruits and vegetables and the likes by having shopped for the same within the campus. The college has a football field , a basketball field, a tennis field , a table tennis room and so many other facilities made available to us that makes life here a lot more enjoyable. The different committees like the legal aid , the cultural committee, the mooting committee among others and the work they do never leave a day to be engulfed by the clutches of boredom and keep us literally on the edge of our seats as the endless list of things to do here always have us running around. The academics and the endless amount of tests that we have to face coupled with the extra-curricular activities that the college offers draw a recipe for a pretty hectic life and sometimes it seems too hard to handle. But then we get to interact with our seniors and alumni and every doubt that lingers in our mind just vanishes because somehow their achievements and their marvelous journey stand testimony to the fact that this college with all its little drawbacks will take us where we wish to go if only we work hard and in the end it will all be worth it.

A perfect college which has high standard education, unforgettable parties, and unsurmountable moot culture. This college provides for the all-round development of a person, in terms of education grasping and personality enhancement. A plethora of books in library ensures a student's interest in reading remains intact and the ever ready to help faculty makes the experience even better. Students from various corners of the country integrate into one single unit and make a diverse yet unified culture possible.

Having spent two years in this college and not getting bored of the same is an indication of how interesting college life at NLU Jodhpur is. Although, Jodhpur may not be so appealing as a city for students, however, the environment inside the college is entirely different. The college is well maintained with workers always ensuring cleanliness and functionality of every piece of equipment whether in the Academic Block or Hostels. The University works hard to provide as much industry exposure to the students by organizing guest lectures from people holding importance in the field of law, from India as well as abroad. The very fact that the life in this college is not only limited to academics and emphasis is provided on extracurricular activities like mooting, debating etc makes this place enjoyable for people of all interests. Being still in my third year I have not yet received any placement offers, though my immediate seniors have been offered job opportunities from renowned legal firms like Trilegal, Amarchand and so on. The hostels of our college are well maintained and workers are always there to ensure cleanliness, further, the fact that each individual is allocated a different room makes it easier to create a more studious environment in the hostel. The professors in our college are exceptional and provide as much guidance as they can, they are friendly and always ready to entertain doubts and suggestions. The student crowd in NLU Jodhpur is mostly restricted to students who are very dedicated to their work and are people are generally concerned with their own work making the environment healthier for studies. As far as the affordability of the college is concerned the fees charged is respectable in light of the services provided by the college. Further, the college also provides free educational services to people (IDIA students) who cannot afford the services of the University.

College life is good, there is a balance of academics, sports, extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. The crowd is also really nice. The hostel could do with some improvement, some buildings are quite old and living conditions are not that great. The placements are good with several students receiving pre-placement offers. The faculty is decent.

Our campus has a vast area, one of the advantages of being in Jodhpur, but it has wasteful expanses of land, which could be utilized for student facilities like reading room, common room, med center, etc. by better planning. Our college should somehow create more associations with firms and senior advocates to get more patrons and make the college more accessible, bu utilizing Jodhpur's position as a tourist spot. The placements must be more institutionalized and students should be better prepared for the same, which is not obtained by the formal system of education in place. The hostels should not have an in-time, though it is required to have one for entering the college. The campus should be made safer and we must be allowed to utilize the library facilities till late. The professors must have more in depth knowledge of practical uses of their subjects and have a better structure for their courses. The student crowd is the most exceptional and accomplished set of people one can hope to meet and you can learn from them, since they are extremely helpful. The college is affordable since it's slightly higher than other law schools, but they do have some unnecessary charges.

JECRC was a reputed institution when i had joined. I joined this college since it was only college in the region with 100% placement although this did not happen by the time i was ready for placements. It had good infrastructure and a good set of faculty. Senior faculty of electronic stream was quite reputed in the region. The only issue was the placement cell had many restructured done which cost the college it's reputation and subsequently the number of placements. I was day boarder so do not have much knowledge on hostel part but overall the college life was good. But in the end this college has lost its reputation after it has come under a deemed university
