The university has developed the infrastructure fullfiling all the international standards. The laboratories are well equipped with all the instruments required during the course of Study. The sports centres have almost all kinds of facilities in which the student can excel. Comparing to many other universities, the food one gets to eat is much more hygienic and also tastes good
I am currently pursuing a degree in Computer science and engineering. The curriculum is updated according to latest UGC norms. Well what comes to the answer for being job-ready, I personally think that no college in this world will make you job ready unless you have your interest in it.
Placement scenario is excellent in Computer science with 100% placement. The highest package received this year was Rs 39 Lakh p.a. CTC bagged by a student of Computer science and engineering. The average package that was received was around Rs 5 Lakh p.a. . This is the information for computer science. I don't know much about other Fields.
The fees being charged is too much. One needs to pay around Rs 4.5 Lakhs per year which includes the tuition and hostel fees. And for a good college this amount is pretty high. I personally feel that though the facilities and academics is good but still Rs 4.5 Lakh per year to pay is too high.
The college life is good but the hostel life is worst due numerous useless restrictions imposed on students. There are numerous cultural and academic activities in which the students can participate. Almost all the teaching staff here are either Phd scholars or Researchers. The location of the university is near to almost all the basic requirements of a person. The hospital is at a walking distance from the hostels. It can easily handle emergencies.
You are not allowed to participate in many student activities in the 1st year which is the WORST about this college.
New central library is amazing. The classrooms are pretty decent. So are laboratories. S We've got an amazing sports centre and there are lot of sports and activites that one can engage in. Hostel are pretty decent.
Teachers assign regular assignments and we get graded continuously throughout our semester. Curriculum is updated and we are taught many subjects that are essential for a student to be job-ready. Still, quality faculty is required.
The quality of placements is good in our college. A plathora of companies came to our college and many students were recruited in the initial phase of campus placements. The college has given a lot of support to the students throughout the placement phase.
Our college fees is huge. The college has a huge infrastructure and is continuously expanding it. No doubt they are charging us a huge amount, and in near future, there is chance of abysmal increase in fees.
Campus Life is good. We do have in-time restrictions, but apart from it, life is pretty good here. Teachers and support-staff are really friendly and supportive. There are ample number of opportunities one can engage in our college.
This college has given me lot of opportunities to grow as a person, both academically and personally. I'm a First year, second semester student and the college has started to feel like home for me. :D
Our college has beautiful insfrastructure,it provides every necessary fascility, whole campus is equipped with free wifi connectivity, living area is clean and spacious, hostels are also clean, food provided by the mess is good in taste and hygenic.
I am doing b.tech and my branch is information technology.Curriculum can be updated, teachers are experienced and helpful.Seniors also help in studies, they provide notes.Teachers are supportive, they help us in clearing our doubts.
Placements are good,KIIT is known for its placement, there is 100% placements in Branches like computer science and engineering and information technology. Many reputed companies visit our campus during the placement season.
This institute is costly,it costs almost 5 lacs per year, but they provide good education and awesome placements so our money gets worth. If a student is consistent with the studies he can easily get a package of 6-7 lacs.
Campus life is amazing, our campus has beautiful evening view,it celebrates every festival,it has beautiful sitting areas and parks, teachers and students are very supportive and above all this college is ragging free. Our college handles energency situations very carefully and quickly.
This college is beautiful.
Yes,my college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments, the classroom are clean and air conditioned, laboratories are shit, library and sports centres are very nice and the hostels are ok
I am studying computer science and engineering, the quality of teaching is good, the curriculum is quite updated and includes almost all the recent developments in my field.its my first year so i dont really know if it nakes me job ready
Its my first year so i dont really have any experiences but i can share what i have heard.the placements statistics is that almost everyone who doesnt have a backlog gets a job and that the good companies only take a handful of people
My course cost me 5lpa.i think it is overpriced.but if u compare it with other colleges it is ok.institues like manipal charge much more and arent as good and moreover the placement statistics make it worth
Infrastructure is excellent, there is no such need of improvement, they provide clean living area, classrooms are equipped with AC and smart boards, labs have all the necessary equipments, hostels are also very clean and beautiful.
There is scope of improvement in academics, no doubt teachers are very helpful but curriculum can be surely updated, overall faculty is experienced, seniors are also very supportive.Teachers will clear all your doubts if you approach them.
Placements are 100% in computer science and engineering. Many reputed companies visit our campus for the placement purpose, they provide proper training and teaches technicalities which helps in the placements.
Kiit is costly and everyone knows that, they charge for everything from gym to swimming. But they provide facilities as well and when you get placed your money gets worth. It costs approx 5 lacs per year.
It is amazing people over here are very friendly and supportive, they celebrate every festival, hosts grand fest, they know how to tackle emergency situations, campus is eco-friendly, there are many food courts and gardens.
College is beautiful.
Great. No need of any improvement. We have great infrastructure comprising of classrooms, sports centres, wifi enabled hostels and 1000 seater auditorium. KIIT keeps building, new buildings which adds to it's infrastructural growth.
Curriculum can be updated. Being a computer science student, we want Machine learning and AI to be in your syllabus, as it has become really mandatory to learn and all projects are based on it. Teachers are good, many are experienced and some are not experienced, but overall faculty is good.
KIIT is known for it's placements , however equal chance must be given to all. Equal training must be given to all. There are 1500+ students in cse branch, and if proper training is given, then all can get placed in great companies. Overalls, placement scenario is good.
Pricey. KIIT is pricey, everyone knows that. They charge for everything ,from gym to training for placements also !
Great
Nice.
Yes, the infrastructure and facilities are excellent in the University. Laboratories, libraries are of all high standards. But, not all the hostels in the University premises are of good quality. Sometimes you may face problem for the using wifi for bad network.
Academics is excellent with many good faculties. But, also depends upon the students interest for studies. Otherwise the faculty members, Professors, Assistant Professor are very much help at times to help the students.
Not all the department has good placement. And for the international students there is no placement. But, for few Departments there are many good placement like in Computer Science and Information Technology there good placement.
The food here is a bit problematic due to some recent events which took place. Insects were found in the food given here. But campus hygiene isn't that bad. Laboratories are quite good with all equipment provided
Okaish I guessbut the education system is based more on mugging up things rather than applying the concept to the solution of some question in the paper. Curriculum can't be actually judged right now.
Statistic are good here according to our seniors. Various programs may be held from time to time and initiatives will be taken to make sure u get a deserving and suitable placement in the near future.
A bit expensive
Too many restrictions
It has good infrastructure . There are air conditioned classrooms and the library has a huge collection of books . There are many sports and fitness centres around the campus . The campus is very beautiful .
I am studying Computer Science and Engineering . Quality of teaching is good . Faculties are experienced and are always there to clear your doubts . Teachers encourage students for research . You will get an overall competitive environment .
Placements are almost 100% for computer science and engineering and information technology department . Many reputed companies recruit students every year the average package is 3 to 4 lpa but if you are very good at coding then you can get a package of 8- 10 lpa .
Yes our college has the world's finest infrastructure. Every facility starting from medical help to transport convenience are provided by the college through shuttles, buses and the KIIMS hospital. The equipment of each and every lab are well in sink with the requirements of the students. The classrooms, libraries , sports centre are both well established as well as well maintained. The wifi connection is great to help the students take every step forward to their bright future.
I am pursuing btech in computer science and engineering because i have an interest in computer programming and its implementations in day to day lives.yes our curriculum is updated and makes us capable for doing our future jobs perfectly.
100% placement is guaranteed but it depends on an individual to hold it as it is depending on his capabilities.38k was the highest from computer science and engineering. Avg salary was 7k . Yes our college is very much supportive.
It cost around 18 lakh for 4 yrs. It is more expensive but comparing the conditions and facilities in other hostels, we can consider it. Also the hostel restrictions are equally considerable. It hurts for the huge amount of money spent.
It is green campus with beauty alk around. Students can engage in anything that they feel into. Starting from sports, other extra curricular activities and research work, the finest facilities are provides in every way.
I am happy with my hostel life. Although it hurts a little in college and class but still, apart from the highest restrictions in hostel i would suggest that it is a good life to be in besides the huge money involved.
Yes, you can apply for a transfer from KIIT Bhubaneswar to KL University, Vijayawada, but KL will treat you as a new admission through their lateral entry/transfer policy. This usually means you’ll need to go through their admission process, submit migration/transfer certificates, and get course equivalence approved. However, you will not get a direct fee waiver KL University will charge its own tuition and may not adjust fees already paid to KIIT. You can request concessions through the admissions office, but full transfer without extra payment is generally not possible.
These are prominent institutes in India:
If you compare KIIT Bhubaneswar, VIT Vellore, and BITS Pilani on education, infrastructure, and placements, here's a view:
VIT Vellore stands out with infrastructure and top recruiters like Google and Microsoft. It offers the highest packages, with averages around Rs 9.9 LPA and max up to Rs 88 LPA.
BITS Pilani is known for strong academics and solid placements, with median packages near RS 18 LPA and top companies hiring regularly.
KIIT Bhubaneswar is growing fast with good facilities and decent placement offers, averaging around Rs 6.5 LPA.
All three provide quality education and good campus life, but your choice should depend on your course and preferences. For detailed info, you can visit careers360 official site

Dear aspirant,
With 96 percentile in JEE MAIN, and being an OBC- NCL female candidate you have a decent chance of getting CSE in many good private colleges but not in top NITs unless your OBC rank is within 10,000 . Since you're from outside of Odisha, KIIT doesn't offer state quota advantage , but you can still get CSE there through KIITEE or direct admission if seats are available, as it’s a private university. Some good colleges for you includes Shiv Nadar University, LNCT Bhopal , MIT-WPU, Pune , SRM,VIT, Jaypee Noida . If budget allows, you will get CSE admission in top private colleges. You can visit this link given below for more information.
Good luck.
