College has all the necessary infrastucture, facilities and equipments having one of the best campus in India and there are smart classes with smart boards , projectors and wifi and sports centres and hostels.
im currently persuing Btech in Computer Science Engineering and the faculties are very good and helpfuls towards the hardworking and deciplined students. The curriculum is also updated and includes all the recent developments.
Placements are good and frequent Most students get placements in decent companies . They also provide multiple Internships to the students .They aslo help students to get better at job interviews and Aptitude.
My college has all the necessary infratructure , facalities and equipments. Our college also has Free Wifi in Hostels , gyms, Playground , Libraries,Lab and sports centers. And the campus is large enough to accomodate a Student's Need.
I am studying btech in Computer Science Enhgineering, And the Faculties are good and supportive to every students who are discipined and work hard .the quality of the teaching is also good and the curriculum is updated.
The quality of the placements is also good and the process of placement is also easy and pleasant.the teachers support the students for the placements and they also provide internships for the syudents.
My college had all the necessary infrastructure , facilities and equipments. We also have hostels with Free Wifi Access, Gyms , Playground , Libraries and sport centres and they are all well maintained.
I have studied B.tech in Computer Science and Communication Engineering . The facuties of the department are very helpful and the teaching quality is Good and the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.
The Quality of the placements is good and it focuses on the deciplined and hard working students. And the process of the placements are easy and pleasant for the students also. And they also provide Internships to the students
Our college having one of the best Infrastuctures out there and has all the enecessary equipments. We have also access to free wifi , lab , gym etc. We also have smart classrooms with smart boards , projectors etc.
The college is good for shaping up of the Students in both Academic and Non Academic Courses . And the teaching quality is also updated but still students struggle in academics. And the teachers are not so helful.
The record ofplacements is quiet good and the students are getting in companies of their choice but the fee of engineering is quiet high for some families. The process of placements is easy and pleasant.
The facilities and the infrastructure are all good and the teachers offer very friendly behavior. The facilities in the hostel are neat and clean and the food served is delicious too. The hostel staff are caring and give us day-to-day information that is required. Kiit is famous for its top infrastructure around the country. It provides a green campus and world-class library and classroom facilities with 24-hour AC and wifi facilities. All the labs are equipped with modern-day instruments. The mess food is also good if you are non-vegetarian; you will get chicken 4 times and eggs 3 times a week.
I chose the Computer Science course because my family background is related to this Branch and also I have an interest in this Branch. There are lots of facilities in this department, yes the quality might be a matter of concern. The faculty level is average or just above average. Facilities are well educated but yes again the same concern teaching strategy is just above average. Exams are conducted timely and it's easy to pass the exams, but for getting good grades you need to more focused on your studies. Also, you can find that faculties are a little biased to the native people who all are having the same language which they speak.
Around 85% of students are placed from KIIT in on-campus recruitment. The average package is 8 LPA, and the highest package is 60 LPA. Some of the recruiters are Highradius, Microsoft, Accenture, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Google, etc. Mostly, the companies provide placements according to the course you have selected, so choose wisely.
I think fee structure here is definitely expensive but what you get here in this money is really so good life good infrastructure every facility like gym and Good Food your Wi-Fi enabled campus, the money of universities are spend on you not another so it is it's a good opinion to study at this college.
Annual and tech fest are the same here and it occurs simultaneously. The library is very good, you can find a lot and lots of books to study. During my study period, I can only say you will find lesser ground in KIIT. And many of the fields will be given to the KISS students and many of the days you have to come back to your room with your face down as you were not able to play the sports. Overall it's below average. There are lots of societies in which students can enroll themselves and gain some social activity skills.
The university fosters a lively campus life with numerous events organized every month, allowing students to explore their interests beyond academics. Scholarships are also provided to top-ranking students, recognizing and rewarding their hard work and dedication. Overall, KIIT University is an excellent choice for those seeking a well-rounded educational experience with ample opportunities for growth and success.
Many people less know about it because the University doesn't spend a penny in marketing In university we had all the infrastructure necessary for development of students creative mind additionally faculties have good knowledge in there field
The academic curriculum was well designed and well structured. The subjects that were allocated to us in different years of our engineering was well thought off. I must also highlight that most of our labs and workshops were good and had modern working equipment that were in good working conditions. The faculties were dedicated to their responsibilities and so were most of the lab assistants.
Around 85% of students are placed from KIIT in on-campus recruitment. The average package is 8 LPA, and the highest package is 60 LPA. Some of the recruiters are Highradius, Microsoft, Accenture, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Google It was overall good ????
I am studied in KIIT and got a good placement. Don’t have any big complaints. I read your question and immediately Yes came to my mind then I thought a bit more and the real answer is : it really depends on what you want out of your four years in KIIT (assuming you are asking for B.Tech).
As an engineering student, the one thing that you can hopefully hope for is a good campus life. And kiit delivers on that front. The campus life at kiit is one of the most endearing aspects of the college. It rightfully boasts of a beautiful campus as long as you do not get in the way of the authorities. Amidst lush greenery and fancy footpaths, KIIT offers you evenings that you would most likely never forget.
Who said studying Engineering in KIIT's is considered to be bad!! Just like after coming to any Engineering College, Class 12th result hardly matters like that after completing your B.Tech, similarly it hardly matters from where you have completed your B.Tech degree.
The infrastructure of the college was average. the hostels were fine. the facilities there were of average quality. the classrooms were well-maintained. the living areas were clean and the food was okay.
The academics of the college were 5-star. my branch was CS there and I learnt a lot there. the quality of education was amazing there and it included all the recent developments in its curriculum. It made me job-ready and well-equipped for my future.
The college placements were fine with an average of 4 lacs and the highest was around 12 lacs for my batch. There were 60% placements for the batch. The placement process was fine and the college was supportive throughout the four years.
The college was a value for money as my fee was around 2.5 lacs per year and I learnt a lot there which made me skilled enough for my future endeavors.
The campus life was happening and I liked the environment of the college. The infrastructure was average and the location was safe for emergencies. The teachers and staff were supportive and friendly.
I got opportunities there.
Kiit is having the best infrastructure in india. its known for its world class campus and largest college amongst all govt and private, having a area of 6500+ acres.. all labs are classroom are smart classrooms with full wifi all over the campus.
The teacher to student ratio is very good here..so that every student can get proper attention. .for 1st year students almost 95% teachers are IITs passout(had done btech/mtech/phd from IITs).. they are having a lot of experience in industries and teaching field.
Kiit is known for its placements among all private universities even students leave govt colleges to join here..as a lots of students got very high packages such as 20lpa+ package was given to 300+ students and 15lpa+ was given to 500+ students which is exceptionally very high..
Kiit fees is bit high, but in return students get the same package too..there are also many engineering colleges with less fee but their placements and packages are not that good.. if u can afford join it..
Best campus life assured, u wont regret it after joining.
Well, the college infrastructure is a provided with all the necessary equipment and facilities. The students have access to free Wi-Fi, labs, gym, sports etc. in classroom there is a projector, AC, desk chair and a board.
This college is good for grooming the character of students which include both academic and extra curricular activities. The teaching qualities up to date but still student experience struggle in getting passing marks or percentage.
Best thing about this colleges placement. Maybe student experience struggle and getting passing percentage. But the placement record is really very good. Major IT firms come to visit the students of college.
Value for money as it takes money at every stage but provide placement too for the students.
This college has best infrastructure even better than many IIT's. This college is use like smart City. Classroom and labs are fairely equipped. This college look like a huge castle equipped with modern technology.
I will give a big no to this Institute as this college only gives bunch of assignments. And the Teachers use printed notes as the teaching material. The university is follows latest engineering syllabus but teachers are not supportive.
The placement has decent record. But the fees of engineering department is bit costly. I am seeing many student passing from this Institute and getting the companies of their choice, and many people not getting companies.
Yes, you can apply for a transfer from KIIT Bhubaneswar to KL University, Vijayawada, but KL will treat you as a new admission through their lateral entry/transfer policy. This usually means you’ll need to go through their admission process, submit migration/transfer certificates, and get course equivalence approved. However, you will not get a direct fee waiver KL University will charge its own tuition and may not adjust fees already paid to KIIT. You can request concessions through the admissions office, but full transfer without extra payment is generally not possible.
These are prominent institutes in India:
If you compare KIIT Bhubaneswar, VIT Vellore, and BITS Pilani on education, infrastructure, and placements, here's a view:
VIT Vellore stands out with infrastructure and top recruiters like Google and Microsoft. It offers the highest packages, with averages around Rs 9.9 LPA and max up to Rs 88 LPA.
BITS Pilani is known for strong academics and solid placements, with median packages near RS 18 LPA and top companies hiring regularly.
KIIT Bhubaneswar is growing fast with good facilities and decent placement offers, averaging around Rs 6.5 LPA.
All three provide quality education and good campus life, but your choice should depend on your course and preferences. For detailed info, you can visit careers360 official site

Dear aspirant,
With 96 percentile in JEE MAIN, and being an OBC- NCL female candidate you have a decent chance of getting CSE in many good private colleges but not in top NITs unless your OBC rank is within 10,000 . Since you're from outside of Odisha, KIIT doesn't offer state quota advantage , but you can still get CSE there through KIITEE or direct admission if seats are available, as it’s a private university. Some good colleges for you includes Shiv Nadar University, LNCT Bhopal , MIT-WPU, Pune , SRM,VIT, Jaypee Noida . If budget allows, you will get CSE admission in top private colleges. You can visit this link given below for more information.
Good luck.
