Candidates must have passed the Post-Pre-University Diploma Examination in Sanskrit conducted by any recognised University, OR have cleared the Vidwat Madhyama (B.A) Examination conducted by the Board of Sanskrit Education, Karnataka Government or Karnataka Sanskrit University, Bangalore,

OR

Candidates should be graduates of any recognised university and have passed the Kannada Pandit Examination conducted by the Government of Karnataka.
