Hello Venusaivenu12012002,
Well, Sorry to say but you can't get float option after selecting slide option, (As written in Josaa Business rule 2020 : a candidate can change from float to slide/freeze and slide to freeze by online reporting. Page 37) but I will suggest, wait till last round and then apply for CSAB round and arrange in your preferred manner, there are chances for you getting seat there, but no chance in josaa itself...
Last Year Csab round cutoff for MANIT bhopal, chemical engineering was 27193 for CSAB first round for Other State Quota Candidates...
Hope This Helps, feel free to ask any further query...
Hello. The NIT Bhopal is a very well known and reputed college. Chemical branch is worth doing from here is best as it have more scope over there.
Placements are best here, internship opportunities are great. It's best , internship opportunities provided to gain professional experience and practicality. Its highest package till now is 6 LPA. So all the best.
Hope that helps!
Hello
Its not about toughness ,it basically depends upon your interest because if you are interested in something then you do it well as compare to the non interested one. If you are interested in sensor, automation part then go for instrumentation engineering but if your are interested in metallurgy part then go for metallurgy engineering.
Talking about college then both the college have a good placement and ranking.
Good Luck.
Hello aspirant, hope you are doing good.
Firstly, congratulations for your excellent rank , it's not at all easy and I'm sure you did your best. Hello Aspirant,
Getting admission into a NIT of your preferred choice depends on various factors like your category, seat availability at college, no. of applicants appeared, exam difficulty level and previous years cutoff trends.
Seeing your rank and category and also the previous years cutoff trends, it is bit difficult to say whether you would get admission into your preferred branch.
But, the cutoff varies each year depending upon the above mentioned parameters.
You can have a look at the previous years cutoff trends of various NITs for metallurgical engineering given below,
Hope that helps. Good luck
Hey,
At first many many congratulations for your success. Without officially released cut-off details for the participating instituions in JEE MAIN paper 2 by the conduting authority, it's obvious that we can't make any accurate comment about any kind of instituions.
Still as per our assumption and the previous year's cut-off informations I can assure you that you've definite probability to get admission in SPA and MANIT Bhopal in B.Plan course. Because according to the 2019's informations the last average qualifying rank of General-EWS candidate in any SPA for B.Plan course was almost 2.9-3k and in case of MANIT Bhopal it was 642 through AIQ, where your rank in this year is quite lesser than that. Qish you all the best for your better future.
Dear Aspirants,
It doesn't matter if you choose CSE among any institute because at last the thing matter the most is you have industry required skills and have development skills with strong algorithmic thinking. But, as per the campus placement consider choosing best institute comes with benefits. Like Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur , Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat and Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal has better placement statistics and research areas.
Hello Tarun,
NIT is a reputed institution . Therefore the quality of education or the training is going to be good in both the streams . So regardless of the institution, choosing between ECE or EEE depends entirely on your interest and skill sets. But along with it when you consider the future career prospects EEE seems to be a little limited, means to settle in a good/desired position, compared to ECE. Even in terms of college placements , you see ,CSE students are gains the most. The placement offers are mostly from CSE background and the ECE students are allowed to sit for the CSE placements more that EEE students . Only few EEE students make it to the core field. So if campus placement is your focus , go for ECE and improve your coding skills. But if you have keen interest in Electrical field and is confident and hard working , then sure go for it , you can end up well. You will have more government job opportunities.
All the best
College Academic buildings and labs are well equipped for the most part. Every equipment works but the usage is very limited. Instead of the smart board being used for a deeper dive and visual learning, it ended up being used to put up pre made slides from a few years back by the teachers (2 teachers to be specific in Civil Engineering department) But there are others as well that use it well. The transportation department teachers were very good at visually explaining an otherwise monotonous chapter for example. The labs on the other hand, we had like 1/4th of the semester one time, where the hydraulics lab was under maintenance for most experiments. Besides that the experience has been good. Cleanliness and working water coolers and toilets is on the positive side, especially 2nd year onwards when you are in your own department building (Civil/ EE/ ME/ Chemical) the center court is an open space with greenery and as a student, one of the highlights of hanging out and strolling in the teaching block. You must get your library card made as well, not only for older hard copies of books, but for their digital section as well that helps access research papers on behalf of MANIT. In all, the facilities are there, though sometimes you have to push harder to make use of them.
College is well equipped with both conventional electrical motors/brushless drives and modern digital equipments. College has a well equipped library on every topic imaginable.Proper college wide wifi. The campus is clean and green. Not all classrooms have a projector. There are 2 proper canteens and the each hostel has one, covering both north and south indian cuisines with atleast 3 meals a day. There are water coolers and water filters on hostel campus.
Campus is massive, 650 acres with green trees and fresh air, feels like a park. Chemical labs got good reactors and distillation setups for research, library huge with journals and wifi. Classrooms big but old, no AC so hot in bhopal summers. Hostels clean with mess, but water issues sometimes. decent for pg studies.
