Hello aspirant,

One thing to remember while pursuing your career in engineering is that you can learn coding and become a software engineer or a developer irrespective of  your branch of study. But, computer science and electronics students stand a little higher chance in getting good jobs in the software field. If you are so adamant about getting CSE, then you should look for another college where you can get CSE.

But since you said that you can't drop, you can continue with the materials and metallurgical course and study  coding in parallel. Always during first year the subjects are same for all the branches and before getting to second year, you can try for any spot allotment or lateral entry to get ECE or CSE.

The best thing that I would suggest you is to learn coding through the numerous online tutorials and online courses available and earn certificates. Participate in hackathons and do internships. All these record will surely get you a job in the software field irrespective of your branch of study.

Hope this was helpful

Hello,

If we consider 2020 Rankings, then SPA Delhi is better than NIT Bhopal, rankings are given based on so many important factors. But, if we consider infrastructure, then NIT Bhopal has better Infrastructure.

NIT's are considered most of  the time better than SPAs in terms of placements. But whatever you choose, placements will be wholly based on your efforts, skills and performance. Both are topmost colleges, but apart from rank if we take reviews as a consideration, NITs are better.

Dear Student,

NIT durgapur and NIT surat are the best among these then NIT bhopal. In terms of placement NIT durgapur is best among these for CSE and mechanical branch. The average package of NIT surat is 7LPA and for NIT durgapur it is 11 LPA for CSE.The average package of NIT bhopal is  7.57 LPA  as mentioned on the official site. You can view the statistics here

Hello student,

You have not mentioned which category you belong to. Yet your predicted rank in the general category is around 26,000 - 33,000. With this rank, you have chances of getting chemical engineering or civil engineering in MANIT, Bhopal comparing the trends of the past years. However, you can predict the colleges which you are likely to get using the below mentioned link:

NIT Nagpur would be more better and beneficial for anyone. Firstly it is located nearby by hub of economic center of India, i.e. Mumbai, so anyone can try off campus placement, there will be a huge opportunity. Secondly it's faculty is good so the academics than nit Bhopal.

Hello Aspirant,

You have given these 3 options, so it might be the colleges that you would get it seems.

These colleges, i.e. NIT Bhopal, NIT Agartala and NIT Jalandhar. All the 3 NITs are good enough in terms of quality education and moderate placements.

But, at last, you have to decide which one is better for you amongst the three !

You may choose either by means of location , that is, which NIT would you choose, the one that is nearer or the o e which is furthest. Many students leave those NITs which are far away from their home towns.

And the second one being the branch that you want to get into ! That is, which branch would you choose depending upon your interest or want for studying as career guider. I mean metallurgy, or electronic and instrumentation, etc.

So, you would majorly choose between location or branch that you purposely want. Also, see the more information about the college and it's branch on their official website for more details.

Hope that helps. Good luck

Hi,

The cutoff marks depend on factors like category, number of student applied, ,difficulty level of exam ,seats available etc.

So the cutoff marks required for admission varies every year.

However from previous years citoff marks/ranks you can have the idea about the chances of your admission in current year.

In 2019 the cutoff rank for EWS category for cs branch in mnit Bhopal was

Home state male  - 1089

Other state male  - 918

Home state female - 1775

Other state female - 1577

As per previous years cutoff it seems little difficult for you to get a CS engineering seat at mnit bhopal.

However you can try other branches or other nits, gftis

To know .ore about your admission chances in various colleges through jossa counselling you can use the jee main college predictor tool. The lonk for which is https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hello there,

In any case NIT Bhopal would be a better choice to offer. If you do not get in any NIT's then you can think of LNMIIT but the first preference should be the other one.

I'm attaching a list of NIT's for you reference.

College Infrastructure

College Academic buildings and labs are well equipped for the most part. Every equipment works but the usage is very limited. Instead of the smart board being used for a deeper dive and visual learning, it ended up being used to put up pre made slides from a few years back by the teachers (2 teachers to be specific in Civil Engineering department) But there are others as well that use it well. The transportation department teachers were very good at visually explaining an otherwise monotonous chapter for example. The labs on the other hand, we had like 1/4th of the semester one time, where the hydraulics lab was under maintenance for most experiments. Besides that the experience has been good. Cleanliness and working water coolers and toilets is on the positive side, especially 2nd year onwards when you are in your own department building (Civil/ EE/ ME/ Chemical) the center court is an open space with greenery and as a student, one of the highlights of hanging out and strolling in the teaching block. You must get your library card made as well, not only for older hard copies of books, but for their digital section as well that helps access research papers on behalf of MANIT. In all, the facilities are there, though sometimes you have to push harder to make use of them.

Good Library and Professors. Not good internships.

College Infrastructure

College is well equipped with both conventional electrical motors/brushless drives and modern digital equipments. College has a well equipped library on every topic imaginable.Proper college wide wifi. The campus is clean and green. Not all classrooms have a projector. There are 2 proper canteens and the each hostel has one, covering both north and south indian cuisines with atleast 3 meals a day. There are water coolers and water filters on hostel campus.

Top NIT for chemical masters.

College Infrastructure

Campus is massive, 650 acres with green trees and fresh air, feels like a park. Chemical labs got good reactors and distillation setups for research, library huge with journals and wifi. Classrooms big but old, no AC so hot in bhopal summers. Hostels clean with mess, but water issues sometimes. decent for pg studies.
