It is not compulsory to live in hostels for students in NIT Bhopal . You can stay outside the college . But if you stay outside NIT Bhopal you cannot participate in the weekly activities conducted in the college . The facilities provided in the hostel are very good

If you see in terms of faculty then I would suggest you to go for NIT Bhopal because the faculty members are way better then NIT surat at NIT Bhopal.

But if you look for placement then NIT Surat will lead here as the average placement of NIT
