Hello Aspirant! According to your percentile, your expected rank would be around 3.4 to 3.6 lakhs something. With this rank, it's impossible for you to get a seat in any of the NIT' under JOSAA. Getting NIT Andhra Pradesh is way far not possible. Getting IIIT is also not possible. You can't get any college under JOSAA or CSAB round counsellings. Not even GFTI's.

You can try in other private colleges through management quota or through direct admission.
Some of them are:
MIT, Manipal
UPES, Dehradun
Quantum University
REVA University
Presidency University
Chandigarh University
etc.
You can get your desired branch through management quota in these.

Hi,

I hope you are doing well.

NIT warangal has some of the finest faculties , and concerning about the chemical branch, its one of the core subject. As compared to NIT AP , NITW is much more established have some of the experienced teachers and even the placements are decent. BUT i will still recommend you to choose the branch you have interest in. anyhow in the end it all depends upon the students performance, and institute or university can only provide you some opportunities. you have to grab those opportunities in order to build yourself.

NITW is a much better and more established institute than NIT AP, which was very recently conceived, after the partition of Telangana and Andhra. NIT AP does not hold the same weight in placement statistics owing to its nascent faculty and curriculum and also due to its remote location. This is applicable to CSE as well.

I hope this helps.

All the Best.

Hello Aspirant,

See if you belongs to Telangana and holds the domicile of Telangana then you won't be considered for Home state quota for NIT Andhra Pradesh because now Telangana is a different state but yes being a domicile of Telangana you are eligible for Home state quota of NIT Warangal.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

Hello aspirant

hope you are doing well and safe. As per your query , I would glad to inform you that  for getting migrated from one college to college in second year you need to get NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from both the colleges and vacancy should be there in KALASALINGAM university for getting admission . The main difficulty is to get certificate from the college you are currently studying if you are getting NOC from NIT AP then you will be able to change the college

Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future

Yes you can change your stream in masters to Computer Science. But you will have to prepare for the entrance exams as per computer science syllabus. You will have to learn atleast one programming language and study subjects like:
1. Data structures and algorithms
2. Operating system
3. Computer networks
4. System architecture and design
5. Software development and testing
6. Database
7. Information theory

You will have to study the above mentioned subjects along with your course. But it can be easily achieved with good time management and consistency.

Hi, Aspirant..

The NIT-AP cutoff rank for AP students was 2123 last year, and 1710 for other state students. If your closing rank remains the same as last year, it will be tough for you to gain EEE in NIT-AP. However, because the cutoff varies every year, you may not be able to get your preferred place in NIT-AP if the closing rank changes this year.

All the best..

Hi aspirant, since the rank you have mentioned that is not your AIR it is category rank so based on this it is not possible for you to get into NIT, AP with CSE and ECE but you may have chances to opt for other branches except these two as these branches somehow consider high rank in compare to other branches.

Thank You.

Hello Aspirant,

NIT AP (even after considering home state quota) and some other top NITs are bit difficult on such rank but you can go for some other IIITs/lower NITs

If we go through previous year's data of seat allotment On the basis of data mentioned in the question by you, you can go for the enlisted colleges :-

National Institute of Technology Agartala - Production Engineering (9207)

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT)Kota, Rajasthan - Electronics and Communication Engineering (9063)

Indian Institute of Information Technology(IIIT) Una, Himachal Pradesh - Electronics and Communication Engineering (10382)

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Sri City, Chittoor - Electronics and Communication Engineering (9746)

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above list is merely a prediction which has been made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of either JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
