Dear student,
Not all NITs are better than SASTRA University.
While comparing colleges, it makes sense to compare based on aspects which are really important, than the rules and regulations.
SASTRA has stricter rules with respect to attendance and hostels. That is only reasonable. Quality of academics and research is obviously better at NIT.
At NIT Andhra Pradesh you can get the tag of NITian.
It is the institute which has an average package of 5.87 LPA in the first out passed batch.
You can choose for yourself which one is better.

Your rank according to the mentioned percentile is 86,901. Its a bit difficult to get the college with this rank. However, cutoffs are subject to variation so it may vary this year too lets hope for the best.
On top of that, you still have the april chance , give your best and prepare well. You'll definitely do good.

That is your approximate rank is 47,795.
For getting NIT AP mechanical engineering you should get category rank of around 7000 . Last year was 7672 for male. You can check this link for more details.

First we need to calculate your expected rank which can be calculated by using the formula given below:
(100-your total percentile score)*869010/100.
Here 869010 is the number of candidate appeared for the January session of exam.
So your approximate rank would be: 46,752.
Remember it will be your all India rank if we do not consider any category wise rank.
Now if we go with the previous year record of NIT Andhra Pradesh, as you did not mention your state so I am considering it for both home state and other state so for both in OBC Category the cutoff generally goes under 9.8k which cognate that you have degraded chances of getting admission in NIT Andhra Pradesh.

According to previous year cut off in ECE branch at NIT AP was ALL INDIA M(close-6876)&F(close-9165). For home state this was M(close-6035)&F(close-6955).
Still you need to wait Defoe your exact category rank because it is difficult at this point of time as we do not have data for no. Of OBC students appearing.

Nit andhrapradesh is one of tge well emerging nits and it has good placement records compaing to most of nits and mechanical engineering branch in nit andhrapradesh has a average package of 6.5 lac which is much better than most of the nits.
Certificate you need are seat acceptance form , 12th boards result , migration certificate , school leaving certificate , income certificate and more.

Hello Pavan, No, you won't get a seat in civil engineering course in any of the NITs at this rank because the cutoffs are lower than this. You might have a chance if you apply in some of the lower NITs like NIT Agartala, NIT Meghalaya under home state quota but still, I think it would be tough for you to secure a seat at this rank.

College have all necessary infrastructures, facilities.In classroom like smart boards, projecter, wifi.etc College have department wise academic block , sports ground, workshop, laboratories, library ,research block.It is well maintained all those things.

College is newely built so have AK necessary infrastructure like classrooms, wifi, sports centre's, library, canteen , etc Campus has clean atmosphere and food is moderate ...Overall a good exposure one can get from this college.
