Hello,
Well, the perspective differs from person to person.. According to my point of view NIT Sikkim would be a better choice for CSE branch..
The faculties are good and focus on providing quality education to the students.. Most of the Faculties are highly educated.
The placements are good for CSE branch.. Also, famous companies like Microsoft, Intel, Infosys, Wipro, etc visit this college.
Overall, NIT SIKKIM would be a good choice among any other.
I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.
Hello Bhagyashri,
To get colleges like NITs through JEE Main score, you have to first clear the cutoff as per your category. Below I have provided 2019 JEE Main cutoff (percentile) category wise -
So if you have cleared the cutoff as per your category then you are eligible to get a seat in NITs. Below I have provided the previous year cutoff for all the NITs offering B.Arch course -
Note : The above mentioned cutoff is for general category.
Now to get NITs, you have to attend the JoSAA counselling process. Better attend the counselling and see which colleges are you getting for B.Arch .
You can go through this link and check out the detailed cutoff for all the categories for B.Arch in NITs : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-b-arch-b-planning
Also, visit this link and check the detailed information about JoSAA counselling :https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa-counselling
Hope that you get a good college. Good Luck !!!
Hello aspirant,
The closing rank during the process of counseling change each and every year. The difference in the number of appearing students, differences in marks, etc does involve in order to cause some variations in the closing ranks every year. That's perhaps the reason why you feel the way you do..
Hello aspirant according to your jee mains percentile and this previous cut off for all the nits for general categories closes at below 30,000 for all branches. As the cutoff doesn't varies much. Therefore the chances of you to get any nits is low.But with this rank you can apply for some of the iiits gftis and government college and top private colleges
Good luck

Aakashdeep did you get prep course in the 5th round of josaa counselling or any other round?
NIT Manipur has really good infrastructure for our course. Students were provided with all the necessary facilities at this college. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, computer labs, hostel, sports and all other facilities were given to the students and properly managed by the college management. The food in the canteen and mess was good to eat at an affordable price.
My college which is NIT MANIPUR is having a decent infrastructure all the necessary things are provided to us in the hostel like Almirah, Chair and Table, and wifi facility is their in each hostel. The infrastructure can be improved..
The NIT Manipur College infrastructure is too bad for sure. Their is always water logging in the campus in june-july and students have to suffer because of this. Their is wifi facility in hostel and their is mess but the it offers very low quality food.
