Hello Aspirant,

According to your percentile your rank is expected to be around 217391-257541 and your rank based on your disability would be near around 300-1500. So on the basis of these ranks you cannot get neither NIT Durgapur nor NIT Rourkela as per previous year's cut-offs which you can also check out from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-durgapur/amp

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-rourkela/amp

Note that cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors so let us wait for this year's cut-offs and till then you can have idea through previous year's cut-offs which are mentioned in above links.

However I would recommend you to use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different colleges :-

Hello,

Based on our JEE Main Rank Predictor result your overall percentile is expected to be in between 99.5 - 99.7, your overall rank is in the range 2625 - 4275 and your category rank is expected to be in between 375 - 1425. In 2019 a candidate from other state belonging to OBC-NCL with rank 1181 secured seat in NIT, Rourkela in CSE in round 7. Considering this you have decent chances of getting seat in this NIT. However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly depending on number of seats available, difficulty of exam and number of candidates attended the exam.

You may as well predict the colleges in which you may get seat using our JEE Main College Predictor

Please specify your branch and what is your percentile. It is a common perception that NIT has looks for percentile answer is NO they look for rank. Tell me which branch you want to attend. The cutoff rank is for CSE males in open category.

Outstate cutoff-10349

Home state Cutoff-4115

Your percentile is 65 and you belongs to the S T category. In my point of view your percentile is very low. You are talking about getting into the NITs but according to my opinion you can't even qualify the JEE Mains exam. This is the harsh reality. You should now try for another Colleges.See the last year's Cutoffs for JEE Mains

Category                           Cutoffs

1.General                         90 percentile

2. OBC.                             85 percentile

3.ST/SC                           More than 75 percentile
