Faculty Members are helpful, teach topics to any depth, and have excellent exposure to the Practical Knowledge needed for Management Students. There are some Issues Regarding communication with the Department Head, but they do not create any major problems.

The College Infrastructure is great and has all the necessary facilities on campus. The stadium, swimming pool, and sports complex are well-maintained. Every hostel has a dedicated gym. The Classrooms are equipped with Smart Boards, ACs, and Proper Benches; everything which are needed for students is available on the Campus. The Food Taste-wise is average, but proper hygiene is maintained.

The Placements for MBA in NIT Rourkela are exceptionally weak. The Placements do come, but mainly for marketing roles. Other specializations, like Finance, Operations, and HR, are often ignored. The Average Placement packages with which the company comes are not much, it varies from 6-8 LPA. But students are placed at lower packages as well. Dedicated Companies for Hiring Management Students are very low. The Data is a bit debatable as these Companies do register themselves for Placements Drives, but they don't come. The Priorities of the CDC (Career Development Center) are questionable for the MBA Department. The majority of the companies come to hire B.TECH Students. Half of the students are not placed in the 2024-2026 batch. Highest Package which we get know is 10 lakhs this year. The Placement Process is heavily rigorous and quite tough to crack for the OTs.

ROI is Actually Good. You are getting an alumni Network. Off-Campus Opportunities are pretty good and Easier to get. The On-Campus Opportunities also cover the Expenses. The Total Cost is 6.08 Lakh for 2 Years.

The faculties of my department are highly qualified and have decades of teaching experience and are from IITs/IIMs the curriculum adds recent updates in industry and add them as a case study in class, along with that the curriculum is also industry driven

The college is packed with necessary infrastructure like central gym, swimming pool , a big central library ( Biju Patnaik central library ) the class rooms have high speed wifi whole campus is provided intranet service, class have smart boards and AC

The placement of MBA department is average and it is around 6 LPA mostly the company of sales and marketing domain visits for placement and for the domain finance and operations are negligible, highest package was offered was 12 LPA

The program is value for money and provides 100% ROI, Per year it costs around 3 lacks including the tuition fee and hostel fee as well

Academics specifically for MBA is average. Placements are also average. Teachers are well qualified but only for specific domains like finance. Other domains aren’t as great. Academics is cgpa wise as of now.

It is a green campus with large area with availability of every facility. There are canteens and shops required for a student to survive. Campus is extremely large and spacious. Hostels are also spacious and large.

Great people and campus life. Many fests are organised throughout the year. Celebrity night is the best event so far. Campus had dominoes. KFC etc and is open until late night. Students can access any of these until late night.

Placements are really poor. Companies only come for sales and marketing with very bad packages. Companies that even come for finance are eventually pushed for sales. Placements is only good for students who are look in for location in the north

In terms of ROI and brand value it’s a good value for money. Food and accommodation is being fulfilled in very less money. Academics are average overall. Thus, value for money is also average. Only worth it for brand value
