Hi,

It's quite difficult to predict whether you will get NIT, Trichy with 185 marks or not. The Rank of JEE depends on percentile. Since there are multiple shifts in JEE , the difficulty level of paper also changes. This results in sometime students getting higher percentile with less marks relatively. Because of this reason, it is quite difficult to predict what rank and college will a student got on the Basis of JEE Main marks.

Thanks!!!

Hi,

If you have choice between these two Institutes ,then you should go for NIT Trichy. Both are good institutes but NIT Trichy is better than VNIT Nagpur. Since you belong to Nagpur ,you may want to be VNIT Nagpur but if you chose NIT Trichy, there is no harm. You may have to live away from home in hostel, but it is experience one should take and it is worth.

Thanks!!!

Hi

Your profile suggest that your home state is Delhi

With  94.66 percentile

Your sc rank will be around 2k

It is quite difficult to make prediction but yes as per past year trend , you hold extremely low  chance to get a seat in nit trichy for computer science.

For example,

In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, 198 sc  rank sc category for gender neutral  was closing rank to get a seat computer science in NIT Trichy under other state.

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

But yes,

For computer science, You  have chances in following NITs which are listed below along with their closing rank in 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, for gender neutral for other other state :-

------------) National Institute of Technology Raipur:- computer science:-2071 sc rank

------------) National Institute of Technology Hamirpur:- computer science:-2377 sc rank

------------) National Institute of Technology Meghalaya:- computer science:-2835 sc rank

And a few more

This above prediction is on the past year data basis but  cut closing rank for colleges changes every year depending upon factors like number of candidates that write jee main examination, difficulty level of the question paper for different shifts of jee main etc so
