The cutoff changes every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam,difficulty level of paper,no.of seats availability etc.but based on previous year analysis and data,considering tamil nadu as homestate ,for obc category the last year cutoff is 2008 by rank.which means atleast 99 by percentile or 99+. with marks 160+.

Try to score a percentile 97.5+ because with 97.5 percentile CRL rank would be around: 25575 - 28750 .

This will be  beneficial with SC Category , with this rank, SC rank would also be under 6000(approx.)

In 2020 a candidate belonging to general category (female) secured admission to Computer Science Engineering in National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli with rank 2757 in round 6 under Other state quota.
