Hello,

Last year the cut off rank for admission to Architecture in round 6 was as follows for ST category under other state quota for the preferred NITs

  • National Institute of Technology Calicut: 66
  • National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli: 65

Considering the previous year cut off you need to secure a rank (category rank) around 65. To secure such rank you need to score minimum 98-99 percentile or above in JEE Main. Cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

Dear Aspirant,

With 99.67 percentile in JEE Mains 2021 CRL Rank would be around: 3376 - 3795

JEE Mains Rank predictor tool:

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

Now this is a quite good score and rank, considering SC category & according to previous year records of closing ranks there are  chances for CSE Seat in NIT Warangal, NIT Trichy and all other NITs.

If you don't avail SC Category then with this CRL Rank you might get CSE Seat in NIT Trichy if you belong to Home State quota , if not you may get other branches like Electrical  and Electronics(EEE) , Electronics  and Communication Engineering (ECE) in NIT Trichy as well as NIT Warangal.

Check-

Also you can check all previous year cutoffs (closing ranks) for all NITs,IIITs , GFTIs on official JOSAA Website :

Hope this helps.

With 95.113 Percentile in JEE Main, your CRL will be anywhere around 52-54k and an OBC NCL Rank anywhere between 15-16k. Being from Tamil Madu Home State Category, I believe at this Rank you have moderate chances of securing Metallurgical or Civil Engineering at NIT Trichy.
