Hello aspirant,
If you are from the general category then you will find it challenging to get admission to NIT Trichy with this percentile. With 96.5 percentile it is very difficult for general category student to get nit Trichy. If you are from the OBC, SC, or ST categories, you may be able to get a seat there, but branch will still be an issue. Even if you do not get into nit trichy, you can aim for other nits where you may have a better chance of admission.
Thank you
Hope this information helps you.

Hello Mukesh,
Congratulations for your result. It is quite difficult to predict the exact rank as the trends changes every year because it depends on many factors like number of students appeared, shift, toughness, etc.
But we can predict your result based on the previous trends. With 79.7 percentile your CRL-AIR will be around 207669 - 233450 and your SC rank will be around 11k. You can verify your rank by using our rank predictor tool which is given below:
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
In order to get a seat in NITs, you need to score at least 9k - 10k SC rank, or 85 percentile as per past year trends.
Thus, with 79.7 percentile, chances are low for NITs but you can try for north eastern NITs in lower branches.
If you want to check the chances of getting a college, you can go through our college predictor link which is given below:
Thank you and all the best for your future.

Hello,
Congratulations on securing 99.87 percentile in jee mains and taking into account that you also have the benefit of OBC category you will easily get cse branch at NIT Trichy.
However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
If you want to know about the colleges you can get , you can take the help of college predictor link given below -

Dear aspirant,
We can't predict the situation exactly as it depends on a lot of factors like number of students attempting the exams, the difficulty of the paper and the preferences of the students etc.
Looking at previous year trends we can say that you have a good chance of getting a category rank around 200 in Mains and again based on previous year trends you can get any branch of your choice in NIT Trichy .
For more accurate predictions please check the college predictor linked below. College predictor
Hope this helps
Hey Srinivas, firstly congratulations on fetching a decent rank in JEE Mains 2022. So as notified by you 96.12 percentile will fetch you a CRL rank of around 39692 - 44620, which is a bit tough to secure a seat in even the round 6 of JoSAA counselling. Your category is OBC-NCL and you have the HS quota and according to last year stats, last round of JoSAA counselling, Civil Engg. closed at a rank of 11463.
Now lets visit the CSAB counselling, where the left over seats are open for counselling, acc. to last year in Round 1 you can have a chance for the following branches:
So this is the opening and closing ranks available on the official CSAB website, you can decide accordingly whether to participate or not. Hope it helped, thanks!
campus is very beautiful and it is spread around 800 acres. nature round university is pleasant. many courses offered by university and many blocks . hostel rooms are neat and clean. classrooms are spacious and excellent laboratories.
NIT Trichy's infrastructure is very good. The college has the latest equipment in the laboratories for the use of students. The college has a very big library, smartboards in classrooms. Hostels are very good and mess food is great.
For a college with NIRF 8 in All India Level, the infrastructure is not great. It's okay. Hostels are very poor. Library is really good. Classrooms are average, No wifi in classrooms and the wifi in hostels often have some issue
