It is with deep regret that I have to inform you that your rank of 491 may not be enough to get admission in Osmania University or Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University since these colleges require ranks of 300 or below to get admission into even for M. Pharm or Biomedical Engineering. However for GATE qualified students the cut off may go as high as 900. Hence it depends. Please participate in counselling and hope for the best!

As per the previous year cutoff trends, and considering you are from the general category, there seems to be a slight chance of you getting admission in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences since that had the lowest cutoff score of 493 in 2018 under the 85% State Quota. The other cutoffs ranged from 570 to 509. Wait patiently for the cutoffs and keep a lookout for other colleges as well to keep your options open.

Depends upon the branch which you gave. This year EE paper was very easy so if you want a EE seat then you can't get OU. If you are from Mech then there is chance as this year the paper was bit difficult hence you can get. So, please clear the branch.

You have work hard and secure merit rank in TS ICET to pursue your Master of Business Administration in Osmania University, Hyderabad.The cut off rank for OC-girl category in 2018 was 105.I believe that you may give TS ICET in 2020.If that is the case then to be on safe side you need to secure a rank below 100 and marks above 150 then it will fetch you a seat in OU, Hyderabad.However cut off is subjected to change based on difficulty of exam, number of students who has given exam, number of seats available.

Hi ! OU is a very good college for doing m.tech.  yes, it's a good college in terms of faculty. With your rank it's bit tough to get there. That is in the sense it requires a bit of high rank and marks. So just keep hope on vacancy and may you get an odd steam. So hope you understand and best of luck to you.

There is no such rules that you can change your branch after 1 year in Osmania University. Many colleges like iits offer such facility but Osmania University do not but you can change your branch in further rounds of counseling.
