Yes, For the rank you have secured you have chances to get PG Admission for Mechanical at the Osmania University. But it is not guranteed because the seats intake is less and even the seat allotment priority is first given to the GATE students. If you consider those parameters, the chances are difficult. Anyways you can also try admission in the other colleges such as CBIT. You have chances to get at CBIT. OUCB - is the main campus for osmania University which is one of the top most college in Hyderabad and you need to score your rank in hundreds to get admission in this college through TSICET entrance exam you can do your graduation in both MBA and MCA

The total seats will be divided into 9 and 9 . As general will get 50% of the seats and the rest will get reserved. So out of 9 seats 27% will be for OBC which stands around 4-5 seats . SC gets 15% seats which will be around 2-3 seats followed by ST with 7.5% reservation will get 1-2 seats.

This should be the estimated breakup of all the seats.

If you have selected the float option in the first round of couselling and get an upgradation to another college after second round results, you have to report to the second college and your OU seat will be cancelled .

If you don't get a seat in the second round of counselling then your OU seat will be retained for you .
