ELIGIBILITY

1. Candidates should have passed B.SC, B.A equivalent examination will at least 40% in aggregate.
2. Candidates passing the Bachelors Degree examination with compartment are also eligible and secured at least 40% aggregate marks and pass in the qualifying exam for SC / ST

AGE LIMIT

1. There is no age restriction for CET (Self Financing).
2. Age limit for obtaining a Fee Reimbursement for SC / ST and BC is 34 Years.
3. Age limit for EBC / Minorities / Disabled is 30 Years.

But there are possibilties that even you may not get. Because as there are only 30 seats of intake given and the first priority is given to the GATE rankers rather than PGECET at the time of seat allocation. Anyways as per previous year closing ranks you may get. The Osmania University is one of the top most university of India. It is ranked at 43rd by NIRF MHRF GOVERNMENT of India. If you need a seat in biomedical engineering, the closing rank for last year is 15793
If you need a seat in civil engineering, the closing rank for last year is 4496
If you need a seat in computer science engineering, the closing rank for last year is 4393
If you need a seat in ECE, the closing rank for last year is 1907
If you need a seat in EEE, the closing rank for last year is 4445
If you need a seat in Mechanical engineering, the closing rank for last year is 6217
If you have a rank somewhere around the ranks mentioned above, then you will most probably able to get a seat in your desired branch at OU.

Osmania University is a prestigious university which opens many gates of opportunities for it's students. And getting admission in this university is an achievement in itself. Since the university is such high ranked hence the cut-offs will be high as well.

This year's cut-offs have not been released yet but you can always predict your college by checking out the previous years cutoff trends. Last year's cut-off rank for SC category was 83. And since your rank doesn't fall under the cut-off you're not likely to get in Osmania University campus. But you can always get into other colleges.

This year's cut-offs for TSPGLCET have not been released yet but you can always predict your college by checking out last year's cut-off trends.

Last year the cut-off marks for Osmania University were:-

Opening- 102

Closing- 90

So according to last year's cut-offs you don't have much of a chance getting in Osmania University campus. But if the cut-off marks go down then you can get in.

As per the previous years' cutoff trends, the cutoff rank for a BC-D Male category candidate was 47 in University College of Law, Osmania University. Since cutoffs don't differ much over the years, there seem to be very slim chances that the cutoffs will go down to 397 in your category. Here are some of the other colleges you can consider -
