The basic requirement for applying for most of the jobs or job seeking exams is a basic degree with minimum percentage of 75%.Another thing to keep in mind is that your btech degree  should be complted before you apply for any jobs or exams. However you can take up the exams even in your final year of degree.

It would be difficult to tell you the exact marks required for admission. The cutoff varies depending on factors such as - difficulty level of the exam, number of candidates appearing in the exam, seats available, etc.

Dear Hussain, M.Sc Astrophysics in OU is a 2 year Full time Post graduation course. The eligibility criteria is that you should have passed your graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50%. The admission is based on an Entrance Examination. OUCET is the entrance examination for admission into M.Sc AstroPhysics in Osmania University. The exam will be conducted tentatively in the month of June in offline mode. The applications will be available from April. OU offers various full-time and distance education courses at UG, PG, and research levels. The admission process generally begins in the month of April with the availability of application forms. The admissions are mainly granted on the basis of a common entrance test conducted by the Osmania University.

The candidates can download the application forms from the official website of the university. For OUCET the application fee is INR 700 (INR 575 for SC/ST). Students can pay the application fee through any of the AP online or TS online centres. The academic process generally begins in June. The university gives 6% reservations to ST, 15% to SC, and 29% to OBC. 85% seats are reserved for local candidates.

Students must note that admission of a candidate in the same course which a student has already completed either through regular mode or distance mode from any recognized university is not allowed. This condition is also applicable even if the degree is obtained with any other stream.

In addition to UG and PG courses, the university also offers Ph.D. on the basis of candidates’ performance in the entrance test, conducted by the university. The application forms can be downloaded from the official website of Osmania University. Duly filled application form along with DD of INR 250 should be submitted within the stipulated time. This university also imparts education through distance learning.

The application forms can only be filled through online mode. The candidates wanting to apply to any of the PG/PG Diploma/5 Year Integrated courses, for which they have have to give OUCET exam, can do so by following the procedure given below:

• 1.  Visit the official website of the University.
• 2. Click on “Apply Online OUCET”.
• 3. Open the application form.
• 4. Fill the application form by filling the correct details.
• 5. The registration fees for a single subject for a general category student is INR 700 and for SC/ST it is INR 575. For every single subject the candidate opts for, the fees is INR 450 for all the categories.
• 6. The candidate can make the payment for the online registration at TS/AP online centres or through payment gateway – Debit/Credit/Net Banking.
• 7. Click on “Submit” and your registration is done.

congrats for such a great rank firstly , while you will definately get the EEE branch in JNTU kakinada , or even Osmania University but let me suggest you EEE branch is really very tough campartively to all other branch frankly while if you hard work you have good future in it.
