With a TS PGECET 2025 rank of 340, getting a Pharm D seat in government or minority colleges affiliated to Osmania University will be competitive, but you have decent chances in later rounds.

Here are some colleges to target:

  • University College of Technology, Osmania University, Hyderabad
  • Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Pharmacy, Hyderabad
  • Deccan School of Pharmacy, Hyderabad
  • Anwar-ul-Uloom College of Pharmacy, Hyderabad

Cut-offs fluctuate yearly based on applicants, but with 340 rank, you should participate in counselling up to final rounds, especially for minority seats.

Hello Aspirant,

Osmania University (OU) and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) are two well-respected universities in Telangana in the field of Civil Engineering. Ultimately, which university you choose will depend on your specific interests and preferences:

  1. Osmania University(OU): Osmania University is a well-known heritage University with established professors and academics. This university option is worthwhile if you are looking for a more research-based, traditional university environment.
  2. JNTU Hyderabad: JNTU is another good option for Civil Engineering, as it boasts good infrastructure, good curricular that is lined-up with practical and focus-based industry practicals in the construction and public sector industries. In some scenarios, JNTU is the first choice of college for students looking to get placed (or for students looking to take up jobs in the technical fields).

If you are prioritizing research, or intending to carry on to further studies, you should choose OU. If you are looking for a more industry-ready, job-focused skill set, JNTU may be the right choice.

Based on past trends, ECE at OU is highly competitive, especially in the general category where cutoffs usually close within the top 600–700 ranks. However, for reserved categories like BCC, the cutoff rank can extend further—often up to 7000 or slightly beyond, depending on the number of applicants, seat availability, and category-wise distribution.

Given your rank of 6576 under BCC, your chances are moderate to good for ECE at OU in the second round, especially if:

  • Some higher-ranked candidates opt for other colleges or branches

  • Additional seats become available due to withdrawals

  • You list OU ECE as your top preference during choice filling

Still, it's advisable to keep backup options ready in case you don't get a seat in OU.

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out!

If you want to join Osmania University for the 5-year law course  after 12th through TS LAWCET,under the BC-D category a good score would be in the range of 80-90 out of 120 .though you could get admission with around 70-75 but 80+ is safer for a better rank.

Usually top 200-500 gives you a good chance at Osmaina, one of the top law college in Telengana.

Hello,

It is highly unlikely to secure an MBBS seat at Osmania University with 362 marks, especially for the SC category, with an All India Rank of 288763. Osmania Medical College typically has a very high cutoff, and even for reserved categories like SC.

Thank you!!

Hello,

Having an EAMCET rank of approximately 15,000 makes it highly improbable to secure a seat in the Pharm.D program at Osmania University (OU). In recent years, the closing ranks for Pharm.D under the general category in state counseling for OU have been approximately 12,000–13,000.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Hello Sanjeeva,

From examination of your score of 40 in the 5-Year LLB entrance and your rank of 2519, along with SC, NCC and CAP reservations, you have a fairly good chance of grabbing a seat in Osmania University or one of its affiliated colleges. Osmania usually has decent reservation quota support, especially for SC candidates, with an additional quota of NCC and CAP may help you out further. Of course, the final allotment will ultimately depend on the cutoffs for the year and how many seats are available, so pay attention when the official counselling happens.

You have completed BCTCA from a college under osmania university now you can do higher studies like MBA in hotel management, MHM or PG diploma in culinary arts you can also apply for jobs  in hotels airlines or cruise services
