Rajasthan Technical University offers admission in various courses on undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. RTU admission is offered in courses such as B.Tech./B.E., B.Arch., M.Tech., MBA, MCA, and Ph.D. programmes providing various choices for students. For B.Tech./B.E. programme, candidates will be selected on the Class 12th merit. However, RTU B.Arch. admission requires students to qualify JEE Main or NATA. For postgraduate programmes such as M.Tech./M.Arch, a valid GATE score is required. Aspirants planning to pursue MBA and MCA programme, RTU admission will be done on the basis of national level entrance examination CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT/GMAT and NIMCET score respectively. RTU Kota B.Tech. Admission Process:

RTU Kota B.Tech. admission is based on the merit of the student in Class 12th..Each stage of the RTU Kota B.Tech. admission has been mentioned below. 

• Aspirants must check the eligibility criteria of the B.Tech./B.E. programme.

• Eligible candidates need to register themselves through REAP  and pay the registration fees.

• Aspirants need to fill the application form and submit it in online mode.

• A merit list of shortlisted candidates will be released on the basis of marks scored in Class 12th or equivalent.

• The seats are allocated on the basis of merit, the seats available and the order of options filled in the form of the college preference by the candidate and the category in online mode.

• Once the seats are allocated, students need to report in the college and present their documents for the verification.

• The final admission will be confirmed after seat allocation, document verification and fee payment.

• Printout of provisional seat allotment letter taken from the REAP web portal. Candidates should paste their recent color photographs on the Application cum Registration form with one additional colored photograph with them.

RTU Kota Admission Procedure for B.Arch. Programmes

 RTU Kota B.Arch. Admission Process:

RTU Kota admission to B.Arch. the course is provided on the basis of the score obtained in the National level examination JEE Main or NATA. The RTU admission will be provided giving equal weightage to both the Class 12th score and marks obtained in the entrance examination. Check below the steps of RTU B.Arch. admission:

• Appear in the National Level Entrance examination JEE Main or NATA. 

• Aspirants must check the eligibility criteria of the B.Arch. programme.

• Eligible candidates need to register themselves through REAP  and pay the registration fees.

• Aspirants need to fill the application form and submit it in online mode.

• A merit list of shortlisted candidates will be released on the basis of marks scored in both the Class 12th and JEE Main or NATA. The RTU gives equal weightage (50% each) to both the Class 12th and JEE Main or NATA score.

• The seats are allocated to the students as per their choice and seats availability. There will be three rounds. If a student chooses a college in the first round, the upward movement option is available for them. The choice can be changed in the second round but he/she/they will lose the first round choice.

• Once the seats are allocated, students need to report in the college and present their documents for the verification.

• The final admission will be confirmed after seat allocation, document verification and fee payment.

RTU Kota  M.Tech. Eligibility

RTU M.Tech. Admission Process:

• Aspirants must check the eligibility criteria provided by RTU Kota for M.Tech.. 

• Eligible candidates need to register themselves through CAM and pay the registration fees.

• A valid GATE score will be considered and given priority.

• Aspirants need to fill the application form and submit it in online mode.

• Once registered, candidates need to upload the documents and complete the choice filling and locking procedure mandatory for seat allocation process.

• The seats are allocated on the basis of merit and GATE score (if appeared)

Seat Allocation Process:

There will be three rounds for seat allocation process by Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. Students can check about seat allocation procedure below:

Round 1: In this round, seats will be allotted to all registered candidates based on their choices and merit list criteria.  Aspirants are advised to visit the allocated college and complete the document verification and fees submission procedure. 

Round 2: The second round is the upward movement round, where a candidate is essentially required to submit his/her consent online for the upward movement against the allotted seat in the first round. The candidates who do not report in the allotted institute after allotment of seat are nor eligible  for “Upward movement”

Round 3: This is the special round in which admission would be offered for vacant/ available seats. The number of vacant seats are available on the CAM website. Any interested/new candidate may register for this round by paying Rs. 3000/- (Rs. 1500/- for SC/ST) as registration fee. Shortlisted candidates are required to report to the allotted institute for document verification and college fee submission. 

RTU Kota MCA Admission Process:

• As per the RTU MBA eligibility criteria, aspirants need to appear in the national level examination - CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT/ATMA/CMAT

RTU Kota Ph.D.  Admission:

• Candidates need to check the eligibility criteria for Ph.D. programme prescribed by RTU

• Aspirants need to register themselves on the official website in order to appear in RTU-DAT (Doctoral Admission Test)

• The RTU-DAT will be conducted in order to shortlist the candidates for the Ph.D. course.

• Candidates who qualified the written test are required to appear in the interview round.

• A merit list of shortlisted candidates (based on the performance in both the written test and interview round) will be released.

• The shortlisted need to present their documents for verification and pay the requisite course fees.
