Well UIT-RGPV is quite reputed and popular state university in madhya pradesh, with the given percentile its quite tough to get admission with general category , OBC and TFWS . Based on previous years rank vs percentile analysis your rank will be between 2,62,342-3,49,789 but if you belong to SC , ST category you can easily get admission to core branches (MECH, ELECTRICAL,COMP, CIVIL) and other branches too. Also for the board percentage part here is RGPV criteria- A candidate seeking admission to B.E. must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized board with Physics Maths as main subjects along with either chemistry , biotechnology and biology as third subject with atleast 45% aggregate.
Hello Vinay!
To get into a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) program in the University Institute of Technology RGPV (UIT RGPV),
You need to clear JEE MAIN cutoff.
For getting into ME program you'll have to clear ME program.
Exit exam (GATE) for BE students after completion of engineering is in talk but there's no such rule as yet.
Hope this helps!
Best of luck :)

Hello Aspirant,
The answer to your question is yes. Lateral entry is possible. as per the government norms of MP, Lateral entry is possible
Good Luck!
Hi Sanju ,
You can join for btech ceramic and cement technology as a lateral entry(second year).
You have to sit for the national level or state level entrance exam conducted by varoius public and private Institution offering this course.
Admission procedure is based on All India level jee exam( for IIT and nit ) followed by counselling.
Some other institution have their own entrance exams such as comedk or wbjee at state level entrance exam.
Some college offering direct admission via board merit list considering marks should be at least 80% in aggregate .then you have to go through counselling Session uopn succsgsucces clearing either any entrance exams..
Thanks.
You can do any higher education in any branch irrespective of your bachelors degree branch. the only thing you have to keep in mind is you have to work more and hard because you have to learn all the concepts that are required for m.sc mathematics otherwise you will be lagged and it will take more time to complete the course. If you are more passionate on maths then it will be easy for you to learn the topics quickly. you can apply for the online courses to fill the gap between you and other students. I prefer learn the concepts that are mentioned in B.Sc mathematics through books or online courses and atleast get an outline of all topics so that by studying for more time and working hard you can fill the gaps of knowledge required for M.Sc mathematics and can cope up the course curriculum.
All the Best!
Hello Dheeraj
Based on previous year cutoff trend and considering your maks, you can get admission in RGVP. But it would be difficult for you to get CSE branch. For more information please visit https://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/rajiv-gandhi-proudyogiki-vishwavidyalaya-bhopal/cutoff
Overall the university is average with decent education and faculty experience class rooms are bit orthodox with some have smart classes enabled labs do not have advance machine cleanliness is good placement will majorly depend on your caliber and 100% placement is myth
College infrastructure is above average as college provide all the necessary facilities. A student should get like a well air condition auditorium, a library and a computer lab with latest system as well as sports ground for physical activity.
Nice Infrastructure. Class are good and nice. Very nice Envorment. Canteen food is hygienic. Student can paly a games which they want to paly because paly grounds are also there. hostels are good where you get Wi-Fi connection.
