SNU has great infrastructure in terms of the resources and buildings it has. SNU campus is around 289 acres and they are even planning to expand it since we recently got the Institute of Eminence status from the Central Govt.

This is one of the reasons I joined the department at SNU. EcoNomics Department at SNU is one of the leading Departments in Economics in India. The best thing being the teacher student ratio and almost all faculty having a global exposure with foreign PhD. Faculties devote a significant amount t of their time doing research in addition to their teaching hours. The curricula or here is very flexible unlike many top public universities.

Placements are the only downside I would say as compared to other factors, still you would get decent placements. The package for Masters in economics ranges from around 5LPA to around 15LPA. Comoanies such as Futures First, PwC, DE Shaw, WNS etc does come for the recruting M.Sc. Economics students for the roles of Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Consultant, Program Managers etc.

Decently the most value-for-money option among the private universities. This is because I recieve a 75% scholarship on tution fee, a 25% wavier in hostel fee and a monthly stipend of ₹12,000 for my Teaching/Reasearch Assistantship duties which makes the effective fee almost nil.

Highlight if the campus is the lush green aesthetic that it keeps up to the images that are pur on the website. Since it's a residential campus, it adds more in the social bond 2ith our fellow classmates and faculty who are residing with us in the campus.

Overall I would say, SNU is one the leading places to pursue your Bachelor's, Masters or even PhD. in Economics in India as it offers great faculty, student teacher ratio, world class infrastructure, and decent placements at a very cost-effective setup.

The college has all the necessary amenities and equipment. It is a well-planned university built with a lot of green space to keep the university fresh and green. The hostels, mess, library and sports complex are all up to the mark and give immense satisfaction to be living in such a good atmosphere.

I am pursuing a Master of Science in Economics. The curriculum is updated each semester and provides the best possible knowledge to be used for real-life problems. The course takes in all the papers that match with the ISI curriculum.

The quality of placements for the department of Economics is average. Around 60% of the current masters batch has been placed. The process varies from company to company from easy to moderate to tough.

I have been awarded a scholarship for the course along with a Teaching Assistantship which helped me make my decision to be a part of the Shiv Nadar family. The teaching assistantship also gives a stipend which makes the opportunity more lucrative.

Shiv Nadar is well known for its campus life. It is a fully residential campus that provides almost every necessity available on campus for ease of living. The food is also good and there are various other options available apart from the regular mess food.

Quality of infrastructure is at its best. Classrooms are great, wifi facility in the whole campus, sports centre is a big plus and you should definitely try it. Central Library is the best place to study as it has the beautiful view of gardens surrounding it. The mess is well maintained and hygenic.

I studied M.Sc. Economics. I was greatly impressed with our faculty's expertise, knowledge and background. Yeah, I think my curriculum is updated but I think it can develop more topics to make us job ready.

Being a new University, I would say placements are average but there is a great scope in the future for them to get better. Recently, many new conpanies have joined in like Deloitte and this will only get better with time.

Yes, I would definitely say its a value for money. Try to come in the top 15 of entrance exam and then you'll know why.

The college is well equipped with the facilities required for the extensive development of the students. Every block/complex in the university is well equipped with WiFi.There is a research block for research enthusiast students. Dorms and mess are hygienic.

Along with the courses associated with the majors, we are supposed to take on the other courses of any school. They help in enhancing one's point of view as well as understanding. You will also get to interact with many other professionals through the seminars conducted weekly.Field trips will enhance your practical approach.

Placements may not be up to your expectations but you will be well-groomed for the process. The university is always dedicated to grooming the students for the placement procedure including building up the resumes and preparation for the interviews.

The best features includes the sports complex, SNU lake, shop arcade, clubs , etc.

Infrastructure is amazing. We have all the facilities like sports, gardens, labs, play fields etc. the labs are equipped with world class equipment and instructors. The machines are working well. Gym and activities are all good.

The academics are best in class and the curriculum is updated according to the abroad standards. The faculty and lab assistants are helpful and help in all aspects of life. The curriculum is updated every 3 years.

Placement are amazing, companies like google, Amazon and Facebook comes for placements. The packages offered are amazing and best in its area competitions. It got better in recent time and will get better soon.

The quality of teaching is nice and the qualification of professors is remarkable. The faculty is friendly and use the updated world class curriculum for teaching during the classes. This makes all students job ready.

Placement is good for major branches whereas placements for sociology, history and other humanities schools is not up to the mark. Needs Improvement. Since this is a new university, it will boom on placements in upcoming years.

Best and new infra as the university started its operations in 2011 only . Everything is good here from classroom facilities to all sports and dining facilities. Well maintained hostel rooms and ala carte options in dining.

Quality of teaching is very good and professors are very helpful in every aspects including the support staff and well designed curriculum. Labs and library is so good and one can do undergrad research with a professors guidance which is not seen in many universities.

As the university is new and student intake is less as mass recruiting companies would not show up for less no. of students but whoever gets placed gets placed here is on their own capability and reputed companies do visit campus.

For my batch its around 4 and half lakh per year including hostel, mess and academic fees.

Seniors are so helpful here and there are many clubs and societies based on many ideas and majors available on campus. Its located in dadri and the university has good medical facilities on campus which can handle emergencies very well.

Yes it has necessary all the facilities that a student's need for the effective learning even in the online studies. They have all the needed equipments for online learning also like smart boards, wifi etc.

Academics wise it is not that good. It is better than local colleges as most of the faculties are PhD graduates and are involved in new age research in their specializations. Yes study makes job ready

Quality of placements are good for computer science engineering and for management studies. Around 80 percent of the students gets placed. Average salary offered is 5.5 lakhs. Placements process is also smooth

My college has all necessary infrastructure , Facilities and equipment the classrooms are all neat and also smartboards are there and also l system is available in all labs all the equipment are well maintained remaining all facilities are also well maintained and no problems are there

I am studying in mechanical engineering 3rd year because I have passion for it and I like it all our lectures are also good and our quality of teaching is very good also our curriculum is also well updated

Career development centre manages our placements so our placements are well managed and guided well highest package is around 35 lakhs by Goldman Sachs last year also our CDC works hard for our interviews also. Avg salary is also good

It is around 300 acres beautiful green campus with clean environment equipped all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and a few more are under construction like SAC. All the buildings are fully air-conditioned and classrooms are equipped with digital boards and a green board.Everything is hygienic and sanitised.

The academics at SNU are very good and there are many ways in which you can expand your knowledge. I am pursuing B.Tech. in mechanical engg . The quality of teaching is good.The faculty is highly qualified from reputed institutions and PhDs .Personally speaking online teaching is not that good. But I can assure academics will be great once physical semester starts

Placements are good. Career development cell cell helps in all aspects of placements. Highest package is around 30 lpa from Goldman Sachs And average package is also good. Although most of the jobs are bagged by CS majors. Other branches are also has some good opportunities.
