Hello student yes the placement in VIT vellore is very good. The highest CTC offered by an IT Firm is 44 LPA (lakh per annum) the average CTC offered as per the latest statistics is 6.4LPA (lakh per annum)

It is quite difficult to predict the chances in which campus you would get seat in Computer Science Engineering because the cut off rank changes every year based on factors such as difficulty level of examination, total number of candidates who have taken VITEEE examination, total number of seats available etc. By analyzing the cut off for the past years you have chances of getting seat in Vellore Institute of Technology- Vellore campus and Chennai campus.

As the closing rank for the Cse is about 7000 but it may extend up to 15000. I think you may not get in Cse but you can try for some other branches. As the VIT Vellore has four categories for admission.Hope for the best. Fee structure could also be high based on your respective category.
1st category- 1.98LPA
2nd category-3LPA
3rd category-4LA

To have good chances of getting admission to Mechanical Engineering in Vellore Institute of Technology you need secure rank in between 19000-30000. Based on the rank that you have secured and the predicted cut off rank you may not get seat in Mechanical Engineering but you may get seat in Production and Industrial Engineering in Vellore, Institute of Technology, Vellore. The cut off rank is subjected to change depending on total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

Cut-offs are subjected to change year-to-year and branch-to-branch. The factors that play a key role in the determination of the cut-off are:

• The difficulty level of the examination.
• The cut-off trends from the previous years.
• The number of candidates appearing for the exam.
• A total number of seats available for admissions.

Unfortunately, given the cut-off trends of the past years, you may not be able to get a CSE seat in VIT Vellore. But could try for a CSE seat in other VIT campuses - VIT Chennai, VIT Bhopal, VIT AP. You might be able to grab a CSE seat at these campuses.
