Hello there,
Deciding whether to accept admission to VIT Chennai for CSE or to take a drop for JEE and aim for IIT requires careful consideration of your goals and circumstances. Here are some factors to help you make your decision:
1.
Cost vs. Value:
If your ultimate goal is to study CSE at an IIT and you’re confident in your ability to improve your JEE score, taking a drop could be a valid option. However, if you feel uncertain about the process or believe you might miss out on valuable education and opportunities at VIT, accepting the offer could also be a smart move. Assess your priorities, financial situation, and commitment level before making a final decision.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

Hello,
Yes, VIT offers lateral entry options for students who have completed a diploma in related fields like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML). Key points:
- Eligibility: Diploma holders in AI & ML or related streams can apply for lateral entry to the B.Tech program in VIT.
- Direct Admission: Students can enter directly into the second year (3rd semester) of the B.Tech program.
- Entrance Exam: Admission may require passing the VIT lateral entry entrance exam (VITEEE-LE).
- Application Process: Check the official VIT website for the latest updates on eligibility and admission procedures.
Hope it helps !
Hello,
Admission to top colleges such as Ramaiah, RV College of Engineering, or VIT Vellore purely depends on marks in 12th and varies institution to institution.
For smooth admission, 85-90% or more in 12th board exams can be targeted.
Currently there is no dual degree program for mechanical engineering with finance The only dual degree program is of BS-MS for software engineering in vit Vellore.SE / IT / CSE are the strong streams of VIT if you are interested in these courses you can apply directly to college from website or they do offer dual courses of BBA and mba for finance you can think of that too.
If you are interested in both fields you could first complete a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and then pursue an M.B.A with a finance specialization.
Hello,
No, admission to the Integrated M.Sc. in Biotechnology program at VIT Vellore is based on merit and does not require a separate admission test like some of the other engineering programs (such as VITEEE).
Instead, admissions are typically done through the aggregate score in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent), focusing on subjects like Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics .

Hello aspirant,
Here's the solution to your query:
NIOS Additional Subject - Mathematics:
VIT Vellore - B.Tech Cybersecurity (Management Quota):
Steps to Take:
Additional Considerations:
Hello,
I can not arrange direct entry to VIT Vellore or any other university. I can guide you through this process, though. Admissions to the B.Tech programs at VIT Vellore, including Computer Science, are mainly made through the VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination). Direct admissions with no entrance examination are usually only available with a management quota, also known as a limited set of seats with higher fees.
Exhaust all means of direct admission by visiting the VIT admissions office or the authorized agents for the management quota seats. Ensure that you have a legitimate official to deal with and avoid unsubstantiated claims. Alternatively, also monitor the official VIT website regularly for updates and specific procedures regarding management quota admissions.
Ensure you prepare all the documents required, like your 12th-grade marks, and be ready with all that it will take to meet eligibility criteria for admission to the Computer Science program.
Hi
hope you doing well
VIT is a reputable institution, and its CSE program is well-regarded. The infrastructure, faculty, and placement opportunities are generally good, making it a solid option if you are inclined towards pursuing a career in tech.
You can check your rank accordingly, the closing ranks for the CSE branch at VIT Vellore typically range from 25,000 to 40,000 in VITEEE. For VIT Chennai, the cutoff may be slightly lower, around 30,000 to 45,000.
Getting CSE might be challanging but you can wait for CSAB round if you get lower branch VIT, cutoff may increase in that round.
Or may look for the other options as per your rank.

Hy,
The admission process for VIT Vellore for the 2024 academic year is set to begin with online applications starting in November 2023. The key dates to keep in mind are:
VIT Vellore has the most amazing infrastructure! The campus is huge and super clean. Classrooms are modern, labs are well equipped, and there are so many cool spots to hang out. It feels great to study here !
The infrastructure of the academic blocks is as you expect from any college and is really good and perfect with proper and big and spacious classrooms, labs, along with big spaces for sitting and also canteens shops and even the toilets are really good and well maintained other than that the campus is also really beautiful and spacious with many trees facilities along with transport facilities and various sports ammendments although the hostels depend on which type of block and room you pick they are mostly good except for summer times when vellore is really hot ACs in classrooms should've been put although they are present in labs and rooms, the food is also dependent on your block but it's really mostly good only.
Overall insfrastructure is average. academic building are well maintained but hostels are very congested. Once u get any any room its very hard to change(they will act like SBI employees to u when u fill application for room changing).
