You cannot take admission in VIT vellore without a minimum of 60% Aggregate in PCM (do not confuse it with 60% in overall class 12th)

As you have 50% in class 12th pcm, it's not possible to take admissions there. Please try some other colleges.

Although vellore is ranked  better than chennai due to its campus and better teaching and learning environment. There  is no fee difference between these two colleges.
