It is obvious that NIT is much better than VIT for CSE. NITs such are Trichy, warangal, Surathkal, Allahabad, Calicut,MNIT Jaipur are the top NITs for CSE. If you not get 10 NITs then you can go for NSIT,DTU and other institutions in DElHI, IIITs are also best.

No mcet exam is for its own college for these colleges you have to fill their respective for forms for bits pilani there is bitsat , for vit there is bites and for arm they do it through SRM jee.

Let me tell you, the fee details are quite variable, as they are based upon the rank that you score during the entrnace exam test. The average fees is for total 3 years it is around 1.3L and 1000 for extra in 1st year as caution money deposit

I would go with vit cs since placements amd faculty.their is awesom when compared to srm or nirma

But if by any chance you didn't make it vit go for SRM ot jas pretty good.placement when compared to nirma
