For 2015 and 2016, the opening and closing rank for computer science and engineering in VIT Vellore was 7000 and 15000 respectively. For this rank, you have to get a score between 45-70.

Sorry to inform you that Vellore Institute Technology, Vellore and Mahatma Gandhi mission's Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering college both doesn't have Marine Engineering in their curriculum.
Therefore i advice you to look for other options.

Yes the admission for VIT college has already started from 27 Sept. 2019 and will end on 29 Feb. 2020.

The exam is scheduled for 13-19  April 2020.
