Congrats for your performance in VITMEE.Now coming is it worth to do Mtech from VIT vellore,well i would suggest you ,keep this as your last option.you may first go for IIT'S,NIT's or IIIT's.Else you have foreign offers then join that because VIT is mostly famous for B.tech CSE
Vit is the best if you are looking for computer science engineering as your engineering branch bcz the placement in vit is more the big name company are recruiting there but if you are looking for admission in best state government college then knit is best according to your rank

You can get but it will be difficult. You can easily get in Chennai Campus. If you want Velore Campus then you can get in Category 2, fees will be high.
Total Strength for VLSI is around 105, so you can have a idea. Being a VIT Student

College Infrastructure
Great lab infrastructure. Many advance equipments. Big campus with many food options available. Very crowded though, it's like there is a whole city inside the campus. Buses are there to travel inside the campus.

College Infrastructure
VIT Vellore has excellent infrastructure with modern academic buildings, well-equipped laboratories, smart classrooms, a spacious library, and campus-wide Wi-Fi. The hostels are well maintained, and there are good sports facilities, cafeterias, auditoriums, and green spaces. The campus is clean, safe, and provides a comfortable environment for learning. However, due to the large student population, some facilities can become crowded during peak hours. Overall, the infrastructure is impressive and supports both academics and extracurricular activities very well.

Its really good.Have all facilities like gym,basketball ground,tennis ground,badminton etc. Academic buildings are also really nice.Food is average and wifi is good but at night after 12 it doesnt works.
