VIT Vellore and Chennai are far more better than VIT AP and VIT Bhopal. In my opinion, you should not take these colleges. The fee is on the higher side and the placement is not worth so much money. Also, you have taken admission in SRM Chennai. So, there is a backup college for you if you do not get any college through JEE. So, according to me, you should not go for VIT. It is more of a personal choice. Someone else might not like my idea. The end decision will be yours.

The percentile that you got in JEE is very good. You should focus on JEE Advance right now. Also, you can get many NITs at this percentile. You should also consider JEE counselling as an option. At this percentile, your rank should be somewhere around 32500.

If you want to go for an MSc in Microbiology in Vellore Institute of Technology Vellore campus, then the total number of seats in this course is about 120, which also keeps on increasing nominally on an year-over-year basis. Truth to be told, the placements of branches like biomedical engineering has always been low no matter if it's even IIT Kanpur. Nearly 80% of the M.Tech. biomedical students from 2019–2021 received internship offers. There aren't many opportunities for placement or an internship in this programme. The majority of the jobs available in our programme are in research-focused or prestigious biomedical and industrial firms like Philips, Siemens, and Stryker.

The Admission will be based on performance in the qualifying examination U.G. (or its equivalent). The candidates short-listed based on their merit will be called for admission. Candidates will be allotted the seat in the order of merit based on the U.G. marks.

Any choice that you make between these great colleges will be purely a trade-off between a branch and a good location and college. If we consider the order on the basis of the quality of the college, then the preference order will be:

BITS Goa/Hyd
NIT Rourkela
SVNIT
VIT Vellore
IIIT Guwahati

This order will be the most accepted as even though you won't get CS in BITS, however the exposure they provide in various fields like Finance, Economics is unparalleled.

Hope you are doing fine! To pursue btech in biotechnology at vit one must need to score qualified marks in VITEEE. The exam is conducted for admission into various UG courses in vit. Below I have mentioned the eligibility criteria to pursue btech in vit.

• the eligible combination in standard 12th is either Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) OR Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).
• A pass with Minimum aggregate of 55% in the above mentioned subjects in standard XII or its equivalent.

The entrance exam had already been conducted from June 30 to July 06. And 28th July was the last date for registration for ug admissions 2022. You can start preparation for 2023 ug admissions in vit or else you can search for another option.

For getting admission in Vellore Institute of Technology, you need to sit for their entrance exam VITEEE. Candidates are then, allotted seats based on their :

• VITEEE 2022 rank

• preferences of programme and campus and

• availability of seats

So yes, you have the liberty to select your preferences then the rest will depend on your VITEEE rank.

Allotment of seat for a particular programme and campus once made final cannot be changed. Now, once your seat is confirmed you will receive a Provisional Admission Letter and will have to pay their Advance Tuition fees of Rs 50,000 through online mode on or before the specified date.

The answer to your query is No! There is no entrance exam for admission into two years PG courses in VIT. The admission process is done based on merit of their aggregate marks secured in their undergraduate or equivalent and the shortlisted candidates will be called for admission. So you can directly apply for msc microbiology at the official website.

For VIT PUNE, at this rank of yours, you can get CHEMICAL ENGINEERING and INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL ENGINEERING whose ranks closed at around 15k and 13k respectively.

For SRM, you can get all the courses specified by the college except CSE.
