Dear aspirant,

VIT does not release official cutoffs as such and thus this answer is based on the previous year's rank statistics. It is slightly difficult for you to get CSE in VIT Vellore/ Chennai even in the third category but you have a really good chance of getting CSE in VIT Bhopal. It is expected that the number of students intake will increase this year but still, Vellore/Chennai is a remote possibility.

Hope this helps

Best wishes to you :)

hlwo aspirant

hope you are doing well

Both the colleges Thapar University and VIT University are the best private colleges in India under top 10 private colleges in India.

see both the institute are good equally but Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is better than VIT. Thapar has various international rankings, excellent placement records, a qualified team of professionals as faculty members who provide the best possible guidance. Although VIT has a better ranking but grooming wise TIET does the work better.Thapar University is better than VIT in placements as well as in academics. Thapar focus is always on quality whereas VIT's main focus is on quantity. Placement statistics of both colleges is almost same but as the number of students in VIT is too many therefore Thapar would always be at an upper hand.

. If we compare both the institutions on the basis of studies, faculty, quality if education and placements, i would totally recommend you vit vellore over thapar university.

Teachers in vit vellore are exceptionally good and also you can choose your own teacher which is the best part. The university keeps you engaged in research papers.

If we talk about placements in cse,the record is superb.

But if you are a delhi student it might take sometime to settle and adapt the surroundings.

CSE branch at thapar bags most of the highest packages and also the brand name thapar.

hope this is helpful for you

all the very best for your upcoming future

Hello Aspirant

Both colleges are good. It depends on you , that in which area you have interest. If you want to learn more about computers then go for VIT bhopal otherwise choose Thapar University. Try to think once in which area you have more interest  and then take the decision.

Hope it helps.

Best wishes to you :)

Greetings!

No your admission will not be canceled, it never will be. Hostel allotment is completely different from admission process, therefore there is no way in which they will cancel your admission.

However this doesn't mean that there will be no consequences, they will inevitably cancel your hostel allotment, and you may have to stay outside, which for first year students is going to be difficult, specially if you don't live in that city, because then you will have no way of finding a good house nearby.

Now there is one more thing I would like to mention, more often than not even if your are not given room initially as you didn't paid fees, there is a chance that if you approach the warden, he will allot you a room, VIT or any other college for that matter has some extra room as no college is 100% full ever, so for VIT it makes more sense to allot it to someone rather than letting it sit empty, so yes they may ask you to do a bit more paper work, or may ask you to pay fine, but if you ask warden he will most likely allot you the room.

Hello student

There are 280 seats for bio technology in VIT.

VIT Vellore is the best private institute for biotechnology in India.
Why do I say that?

Amazing infrastructure, equipments, and devices. You can use anything provided you can operate it and have the teachers permission
Courses that enable you to learn and use those infrastructures
Faculty for biotechnology has around 90% doctorate professors who have had national and international research projects and papers.
Batch strength is mere 240300 so teacher to faculty ratio is something like 1:35
Courses have 60% syllabus adapted from institutes like MIT, Stanford, Oxford, etc. so you will be at par with international students both in terms of practical and theoretical knowledge.
Hordes of projects which will streamline you to think out of the box
On comparing with other private Universities that offer biotechnology, VIT stands out because of these attributes. Placement for core biotechnology is present here, but since there arent many Indian biotech companies options are a lot less. Instead many students go for MS to universities like Stanford, Purdue, Harvard, John Hopkins, etc.

Hello,

Yes, VIT Bhopal is offline for the batch of 2022-23. Since the Government gave the order of startinf the classes for Colleges as well in offline mode in January, the classes for all the batches were started as offline mode. The online classes were still on for few months as some of the students were still in the red zone areas such as Maharashtra but since March, every college was opened in India.

VIT, Bhopal also continued their offline classes in January.

I hope this helps,

All the best
