From my experience, you should go for VIT University.

The reason for my statement is that VIT will give you better exposure than them, but you will need to work really hard there if you want to do really great.

According to previous years cutoffs you will not get Biotechnology in VIT VELLORE. It's cutoffs varies from rank 25000 to 20000. Every year their is only a slight change in the cuttoffs. Therefore there is no chance of getting Biotechnology in VELLORE.

As CSE is a core branch the cutoff of this course is high. According to previous years cutoffs it is difficult for you to get CSE in VIT VELLORE branch as it's cutoffs are around 6000 to 5000. Their is only a slight change  in cutoffs very year.
