Yeah your score is enough better to land you on your dream branch. Since you lie under phase 1 counselling rarely you will find any difficulty to take this branch. But if you have better score in Jee mains then look for NIT'S otherwise vit is already waiting

Yeah, Anant you may change the branch after 1st year but that also have some criteria like your CGPA should be more than 8.5 or 8.0 it depends and should not have any back in both the sem of 1st year then only they will transfer your branch

Yeah you have a better chance to opt the ECE branch at Vellore campus since you are under slot 1 of phase 2 counselling. Eventhough you can also try CSE/IT branch at VELLORE or even in Chennai campus that also you may get.

Hello,

Based on your rank, You have less chances for getting admission to core engineering branches like ECE in VIT Chennai and VIT Vellore campus.

However, you may get admission in your preffered branch in VIT Amaravati.

In demand draft details for Phase II how much amount should be filled up?

Demand draft of Rs . 300000 or 3Lakh is to be carrued for Phase2 Counselling at VIT admission.

Moreover, processing fee of Rs. 11800 has to be submitted along with DD.
The phase2 Counselling shall take place from 14th May to 18th May 2018 at Vellore campus.

College Infrastructure

Vellore Institute of Technology has a really nice infrastructure with clean classrooms, labs, library and hostels. Wi-Fi is only available for 20 hours as it gets switched off around midnight. Campus is big and nice, but it can get crowded. Hostels are very hygienic as they get cleaned daily.
