VIT Vellore Q&A on Admission, Fee, Courses, Placements, Cutoff

You can get civil engineering at any campus, mechanical engineering at any campus except vellore, and computer engineering at bhopal and AP campus.
However it is not sure for two new campuses.

At this rank you can get civil, biomedical and production and industrial engineering at vellore campus. At chennai campus, you can get branches other than CS,ECE and electrical and electronics engineering.

You will definitely get seat in both chennai and vellore campus but IT and CSE branch you wont get but you will definitely get branch like ECE EEE MECH production as wel

Rank of my son in viteee is 46167. which branch he may gets and in which VIT

can u plz tell the number of seats in vit for 4 campuses all over india

Hii aishwarya,

Vit vellore and chennai campus together have nearly five thousand seats. If I assume seats in other two campuses, there will be a total of 8-9 thousand seats. However there is no official notification.

Yeah you are able to take any branch in any campus at VIT and your fee structure will be within 2lakh since you are under 20k rank.

College Infrastructure

Vellore Institute of Technology has a really nice infrastructure with clean classrooms, labs, library and hostels. Wi-Fi is only available for 20 hours as it gets switched off around midnight. Campus is big and nice, but it can get crowded. Hostels are very hygienic as they get cleaned daily.
