What would be the status of JEE (Mains) and other localized entrance exams in 2018? What happens to others like BITSAT, VIT etc?

I believe if a new testing system is introduced from 2018, BITSAT and VITEEE would perhaps abstain from participating in it.They would continue with their own entrance exams, considered most prestigious after JEE (M &A). The state engg. exams would mostly benefit from this pattern alongside some other private players.

In case, these are the two options that you have, I would suggest you to go for VIT Vellore Computer Science. I have seen people getting a very good placements from VIT CS.

To get admission in M.tech integrated programme you need not write any of entrance exam,In this category the admissions are done on the basis of 12th class percentage. For this category you need to apply online on college website and wait for the further notification provided by the authorities and

College Infrastructure

Vellore Institute of Technology has a really nice infrastructure with clean classrooms, labs, library and hostels. Wi-Fi is only available for 20 hours as it gets switched off around midnight. Campus is big and nice, but it can get crowded. Hostels are very hygienic as they get cleaned daily.
