Take admission at vit vellore..
It varies on your stream, skills & many more. Bt VIT provides 3.5-4 lkh p/a packages I think! Above all, it absolutely depends on your skills & knowledge...
Thapar ece would be a better option because VIT is only famous for CS/IT/ECE Branches and have high placement record for these branches........so choose wisely and choose after checking both college's website
Candidates should have secured 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology taken together in +2/intermediate. For further detail you can go through with given below article.

Yes,I agree that college has all necessary facilities a good infrastructure and all the required equipment We have AC provided classroms,CCTV provided libraries+ wifi.They are well maintained.Clean n

College Infrastructure
Great lab infrastructure. Many advance equipments. Big campus with many food options available. Very crowded though, it's like there is a whole city inside the campus. Buses are there to travel inside the campus.

College Infrastructure
VIT Vellore has excellent infrastructure with modern academic buildings, well-equipped laboratories, smart classrooms, a spacious library, and campus-wide Wi-Fi. The hostels are well maintained, and there are good sports facilities, cafeterias, auditoriums, and green spaces. The campus is clean, safe, and provides a comfortable environment for learning. However, due to the large student population, some facilities can become crowded during peak hours. Overall, the infrastructure is impressive and supports both academics and extracurricular activities very well.
