Both KL and VIT are NAAC A++ accredited private, deemed to be universities. Both the institutions have very good placement and other prospects. The comparison is very hard to make. If you wish to go for any of the two then I would recommend you to go for VIT vellore, because-

• VIT has a better infrastructure.
• The curriculum is more industry oriented in VIT compared to KL. As a result, getting a industrial position becomes a cake walk for the VIT graduates.
• The specialized teachers in the field are present in both the universities. But VIT have more number of professors who have the cutting edge specialization such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Data Science, Cloud Computing etc. As a result, getting in touch with the new technological developments becomes easier for the student, as they get good mentors.
• The packages offered in VIT are a bit more compared to KL although, the placement rate in both of them are quite same.

Your rank of 1,20,061 in VITEEE 2022 is very low. Yes, it is compulsory for you to go through the counselling held by VIT to analyse that you can get which branch of engineering in which VIT.

Yes you can join VIT AP and VIT BHOPAL at this rank too but the branch you get in might not be as per your choice. You might not get an option to choose. You'll have to take whatever branch they offer you. Choose wisely.

It will be very difficult for you to get Biotechnology in VIT with 66k RANK IN VITEEE in Category 1. The previous year closing cutoff for Biotechnology in Category 1 in VITEEE was around 13500.
