It is difficult to predict the admission chances as each year the cut off can change due to several factors like :

• Seat Availability
• Difficulty level of exam
• No of students appeared for the exam etc.

Well, as per VITEEE 2016 cut off , you have very few chances to get any branch in VIT of CSE or ECE or any domain . To get admission in any VIT , you need to rank within min 50K .

Dear aspirant,

The candidates who have ranks below 20,000 in the VITEEE exam are called in the 1st counseling round and the candidates who have ranks below 45,000 are called in the second counseling round. As your rank is above 45,000 that's why they said that you should apply for the 3rd counseling round.

The previous year's cut-offs of the last counseling round for CSE, ECE, and IT branches at VIT Vellore are below 20000th rank. So, with the 50160th rank in the VITEEE exam, you can't get admission at VIT Vellore. But you can try other VIT colleges such as VIT Chennai, VIT Bhopal, and VIT AP.

• *number of students that appeared in the VITEEE exam,

• *toughness level of the VITEEE examination .

• *Availability of seat for different branches etc.

The VITEEE 2022 cutoff is scheduled to be announced soon on the official website of the Vellore Institute of Technology. The VITEEE rank 2022 has been distributed to applicants by the exam's administrators by SMS and email. On July 8, the VITEEE result 2022 link will be made available (10 AM). July 7 is the date of the VITEEE 2022 results.

The cutoff for biotechnology course is around 20,000 so you have decent chances of getting this college.

You've got a pretty good rank in the entrance exam. You can get any branch like ECE, EEE, Mechanical, Civil, IT, Biotech, Chemical, CSE with different specializations like Data Science, Analytics, AI, etc so easily under Category 1 or maximally Category 2. Also, CSE branch is also possibly in the line for who knows what happens at the time of counselling. Because generally, there is a possibility of getting admission under CSE branch for ranks ranging upto 25k and according to that yours is well enough. So all the best.
