50% or more score for the following aspirants

SC/ST, aspirants from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. Statement of domicile is mandatory.

Candidates securing rank between 7500-27,5000 are eligible for getting into VIT Vellore campus. And the rank differs based on the branch you choose for doing your graduation. The cut off rank for CSE is 7500-8000, IT 8000-9000, ECE 16,000.

Yes, you can get into vit by rank 2647. But to get into top VIT you need to secure between 1-250 ranks. But you can also get one of the best vit by your rank. And the cutoff rank differs for different vits and based on different branches.

There are many engineering branches at VIT. The automotive branch has good placements, as well as very interesting subjects.

Yes, you can get an automotive branch in VIT with this rank. Generally, the fees are more if you have a low rank.

Looking at the previous year VITMEE cutoff rank, you have decent chances to get MCA in VIT Vellore campus through VITMEE. The last year Cutoff rank was around 240-250 in VIT Vellore for MCA course.

As far as I have heard, VIT Vellore mostly goes upto 450-500 rank, then VIT Chennai starts. So, you have less chances to get any seat in vellore capmus, but you can seat in VIT Chennai.

The fees structure for Engineering may vary due to several factors such as nature of the course(degree), institution's infrastructure, nature of the institution(either government or private).

Pursuing engineering in government institutions usually costs less than that of private institutions.  In an average, a 4 year Btech course in a government college can costs upto(only the Tuition fee) 2 lakhs whereas, it will be around 5 to 12 lakhs in a private institutions.

The job opportunities are brighter in government institutions that that of private ones.  So, get yourself prepare for competitive exams to get admitted into government institutions.
