Vellore institute of technology has a very excellent system called student migration program through which you could upgrade your branch. At the end of 1st and 2nd semester respectively the authorities give a mail to everyone in which they can apply for upgrade in their branches by filling out the application form and paying a certain amount. Now it is not that if you feel that form and pay the fee you will surely get an upgrade, as the number of transfers made is very small in a particular branch and hence your academic performance is taken into consideration while deciding the same. Individuals with better grades are given preference over others but atleast you have an opportunity.

See there are no details available regarding the scholarship in the official website of the VIT. But in Admission policy brochure, its mentioned that the institute appreciates the economically disadvantageous student who are class toppers in any of the courses offered by VIT and they provide Scholarship and Financial assistantship to this students.

Yes, you can join VIT even if you do not appear for VITEEE. VITEEE is an entrance examination only for admission to B.Tech courses; however, if you are seeking admission to other courses such as BA/B.Sc./B.Arch and others, you do not need to appear for VITEEE. In fact, for some courses, such as BA/B.Com/B.Sc., you can get direct admission based on your class 12th grade, without having to take any entrance exams.

Also, there is no VITEEE requirement for B.Tech in Fashion Technology; you can apply for admission directly from the official website.

Candidates can fill the application by visiting viteee.vit.ac.in, the last date to submit the VITEEE 2022 application form release date is December 2. The application form of VITEEE 2022 is available in online mode. The application form is released only in the online mode so you can fill the application form only in the online mode. Vellore Institute of Technology is one of the leading private Engineering colleges of India with the NIRF engineering ranking of 11. See there is no fixed fee structure for computer science  and engineering and it depends upon your performance in VITEEE. The fee structure is divided into five categories the fee payable for 1st category is 2 lacs and it goes on like 3, 4,4.5 and 5 lacs for category 2,3,4&5. Similarly the hostel fee and mess fee depends upon the facilities you choose for. Likewise the fee for veg mess is lesser than non veg mess and special mess the average fee being around 55k annually. And the hostel fee too ranges from 50k to 1 lac annually based upon number of beds and AC/ Non AC types.
