Eg: B.Tech. civil Engg. with Second Major in Computer Science and Engineering

In Vellore campus, if you opt for Software Engineering SE / IT / CSE are the strong streams of VIT.

Andhra Pradesh government has reimbursed the B.Tech fees for all the students for the academic session 2019-20. The government has reimbursed over Rs. 1800 crore under this scheme. From the 2020-21 academic session, fee reimbursement will come under Amma Vodi scheme.

The Andhra Pradesh government has rolled out Jagananna Vidya Deevana Scheme through which tuition fee incurred by students for various courses. The students whose family income is less than Rs. 2,50,000 per annum shall be eligible for Jagannana Vidya Deevena Scheme. The reimbursement for pursuing ITI courses will be Rs. 10,000 while the same is Rs. 15000 for Polytechnic students.

Students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Minority/Kapus/PwD/EWS will provide 100% fee reimbursement. Under this scheme, students of ITI gets Rs 10,000, Polytechnic Students Rs 15,000 & Degree Students Rs 20,000.

Students who join the college through the convenor quota and whose parents annual income is less than Rs 1 lakh are eligible for fees reimbursement. If your rank is below 10000 in AP EAMCET, then only you will get full fees reimbursement.

If you are from the general category, The cut off marks required for CSE in VIT is about 80-90 marks and a rank within 5000 to get the above.

Vit pune was established in 2002 whereas pccoe was established in 2014. Both vit and pccoe offers same facilities like hostel, wifi, gym, cafeteria, library, etc. But if you look from the fee prospective, pccoe pune has less fees for mechanical as compared to vit, pune.

Pccoe pune is ranked 'A' grade by NAAC and is also good for civil engineering. The course aims to make students build their skills in problem solving, design & development of solutions, engineering knowledge, ethics, project management and finance, etc.

If you belong to a category of SC/ST  and if the entrance exams of these respectivve universities are cancelled due to COVID regulation then you might have a chance to get in with your current percentile. AMRITA and VIT both have there own entrance exams from which you have to be qualified in ordr to get in the university. These exms are comparitively easier than JEE MAINS.
