Both are good colleges,but i would suggest you to choose VIT Vellore. Here is the reason why.

Talking about the infrastructure VIT Vellore is better than PSG Coimbatore. And if we talk about the fees,here PSG wins because total fees for B.E/B.Tech course in VIT VELLORE is 7.80 LAKHS which is 2.92 LAKHS in PSG Coimbatore,so PSG is more affordable then VIT.

Now come to the main point which is placement report. VIT Vellore secured better result in placement.The median package for B.E/B.tech course is 5.20 LPA in VIT Vellore and for PSG Coimbatore it is 3.50 LPA,so both colleges are worth to money but overall i would suggest VIT Vellore.

If you want to choose institutes other than IIT, then The best institutes for CSE are-

It is advised that you research about the branch and its scope before taking the admission in the college, however, Engineering in Biotechnology is a good branch provided you are ready to put in the efforts, since it is branch that requires actual lab works and without it learning only would not yield any results. Incase in future semesters, you feel that you are not inclined towards it, you can always opt for other interests.

Hi Anirudh. Though CCE ( communication and computer engineering ) branch is more demanding than EEE, VIT Vellore is much more reputed than Amrita Coimbatore. Moreover the placement of EEE at VIT Vellore is better than that of CCE at Amrita Coimbatore. Despite being from EEE branch you will be allowed to sit for CSE core companies placement provided you have a good CGPA. So in my opinion you should go for EEE at VIT Vellore

Hi Akhil. As VIT Vellore does not take a separate exam or interview for getting admitted into the BTECH+MTECH integrated course and the admission is based on the 12th percentage, the chances of getting into VIT Vellore for this course is high as 93.8% is pretty good.

I would say VIT Chennai is better because it has the brand name of VIT so you will get more exposure as the students in VIT Chennai are from all parts of Indian including foreign statements. Also campus placements take place in Vellore campus and a lot of companies come to recruit with exceptionally good packages.
