As they provide an ultimate good placement and classroom curriculums hen obviously you should go for this only if your rank and choice is matches further.

In vit you also have different types of career counselling programs and good teaching professionals.

As you have mentioned you are getting eee branch at vit vellore and that too in category 3 so your total fees would be around 22-23L in course of four years.

In comparison to this you are getting cse at pes so I would recommend you to take up cse there because the investment will be too much in vit vellore and it won't be a wise choice.

The pes average package in cse branch is around 6-7 L per annum.

With this rank you have pretty much good chances to get VIT integrated Mtech courses. They offered integrated Mtech on cse, data science and software engineering.

For this kind of pandemic situation they could not bothered about entrance examination so you should opted for the counselling.

Actually there is no comparison possible in between bit and other EAMCET colleges. VIT  is one of best private colleges nowadays. Computer science,data science or the course related to computer is largely better in vit. But you should clear there entrance exam also. Though in this pandemic situation they conduct there exam system in basis of board marks. But if you want to go for EAMCET colleges then it is absolutely ok. There are also some renowned colleges but those are actually based only on your EAMCET ranks.

I am sorry to inform you that there will be no second rounds of counselling for integrated Mtech program at Vellore Institute of technology. As per the statement of the university, no requests for change in Campus, branch or category shall be entertained.

However they do consider exceptional cases, please write the query and mail it to ugadmission@vit.ac.in

A. Under regular offers, the students are presented with CTC of Rs 3 LPA and above . On the other hand, under dream and super dream over, students receive a CTC of Rs 5.5 LPA and above and Rs 10 LPA

See very first thing I would like to explain you that M.Tech comes under the list of professional courses in technical field and UGC does not have to do anything with such courses so such professional courses in technical field are authorized and regulated by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Secondly, VIT Vellore does not offer M.Tech. in Software Engineering but yes it does offer M.Tech integrated  in Software engineering, you can check out the complete list of courses offered by VIT Vellore from the link given below :-

You can change your assigned course/branch to any other course through the student program migration window at the institution.

This window is available after the end of first and second semesters respectively any student eligible for it can apply for it by filling up the concerned form. The number of transfers is 2 percent of the total seats available in a particular program. You will get an email after the first semester explaining the complete procedure.

The application fee for the same is around 10000 which is non refundable.

Note- You will need a CGPA of 8.5 and even higher to be able to complete migration as there is tough competition in that window and transfers are merit based.

I would recommend you to please contact the college authorities regarding the refund system of whatever you have paid because as far as I know if you have given the counselling fees or you have already paid the tuition fees I don't think they would refund the full amount.

They would definitely deduct a significant amount and then refund your money.

I would give you a Preference Order, as far as CSE Branch is concerned. You may precede as follows

1. RVCE Bangalore/MSRIT Bangalore/BMSCE

2. VIT Vellore CSE

3. VIT Chennai CSE

4. PES Bangalore/Others
