The class 12th boards marks are only considered for eligibility. The admission to various programmes based on the marks obtained by the candidates in VITEEE. Candidates should have to obtained a minimum of 60% and above in 10+2 or equivalent examination. For more details you can explore the website given below :-

Dual degree courses allow you to pursue two degrees simultaneously, which has certain benefits:

1. If you consequently find out that you are not interested in one of the degrees, you can choose to pursue the other one. There’s always a backup in case you just don’t see yourself working with the former degree in the future.
2. Two degrees mean you get to gain more knowledge! If your degree A complements degree B, which usually means that there is use or application of degree A in degree B and vice versa, then you will have a significantly better understanding of both the subjects, which is an awesome thing in itself.
3. And EVEN if it doesn’t necessarily have an application, you have a chance of having a slight edge over other single degree students during placements if the minor, degree B, puts skills in you that will be useful no matter what company you join, like Economics or finance related degree.

As far as the placements are concerned, dual degree placements are quite good at VIT (Vellore campus). I would suggest taking dual degree at Vellore campus only.

Jagna Anna Vidya Deevana scholarships scheme  introduced by the Andhra Pradesh government to encourage the poorer section student for higher education. Eligibility Criteria for VIT Master's entrance examination(VITMEE) is as follows

1) Candidates should have graduated with a full-time degree from any recognized University/Institute with a minimum aggregate of 60% or Ist class for MCA and M.Tech. degree programmes.

2)Consistent Record in X and XII Std is required.

3) Candidates appearing for their final degree exam / final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.

Candidates should have completed their final Semester/year exams before the selection at VIT.

Placement Requirements: Industries offering Placement at VIT have stipulated a minimum of 60% Marks for candidates

in their undergraduate programmes and in class X and XII. Maximum of 2 years of academic gap is permitted.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

1)The applicants should apply online or mobile app in the respective link provided in the website (www.vit.ac.in) by

paying a non-refundable application fee of Rs.1200/- (rupees thousand two hundred only) (Including GST).

2)The applicants should register for VITMEE, a Computer Based Objective test at indicated test centres. The list of short-listed candidates will be published in the website or personal SMS will be send to the registered mobile number for online counselling.

3)Short-listed Candidates will be asked to choose the preference of campus and branch. Selected candidates will have to pay

an advance payment of Rs. 1 lakh. Candidates who fail to pay the advance before deadline, will not be considered for admission.

However this year VITMEE was cancelled because of the pandemic and the selection was based on undergraduate scores of the students.

Hello student,

Admissions in VIT are given on the basis of their own engineering entrance exam which is VITEEE. Also, some admissions are given on the basis of JEE marks. No board marks are considered for the admission process . Just you have to have 75% and above percentage in 12th board exams.

This only mattered during previous year when the COVID crisis had forced the college to resort to these methods of admission.

So, 10th boards do not matter for admission.

Highest package was 29.75 LPA, average salary being 4.48 LPA. 628 Students were placed out of 873. For CSE, 95% of the students were placed. Some of the top recruiters include TCS, AMAZON, IBM, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, MEDHA, HYUNDAI, BOSCH.

VIT Bhimavaram

Students who have above 80% of marks were placed from our course. The highest salary package offered is 32 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. If you are wanting to choose between VIT vellore and NIT Meghalaya for b.tech CSE then i would suggest you to go for vit vellore because it is better than nit Meghalaya in terms of nirf ranking, placement, faculty.

The nirf ranking of vit vellore is 12 where as for nit Meghalaya it is 59. The placement and packages are also high in vit vellore. The median salary of students placed through campus placement in vit vellore is around 6.6 lakhs. Where as it is around 5.3 lakhs in nit Meghalaya.

VIT Vellore takes admissions via the VITEEE exam, and not the JEE Main. VIT is a deemed to be University which conducts it's own entrance exam and doesn't take admission through JEE Mains.

To get CSE , you need a rank below 4k to get into the Scholarship Category - 1. This is a bit tricky because the exam is conducted using relative scoring ( your score depends on how you fared amongst those who gave the same set). This makes it trickier than any absolute scoring exam. However , in general , a score above 105 out of 125 will land you CSE.

To draw a comparison between JEE and VITEE levels , almost all of the CSE students have JEE Main score above 150. A lot above 200 too ( for School Cat 1).

VIT have a very well organized curriculum such that the curriculum provides adequate skills to work in industry as well as to pursue academia. Also the faculties are very well experienced and are active in research. VIT offers a very good rate of placement about 91%. Thus if you want  admission in CSE among this two then I would say its better to go for VIT BHOPAL. VIT Bhopal have very good infrastructure which is really  good fact for science students.

** I would highly recommend you to conduct a research by yourself. If you find my facts relevant then only go for it , else take the decision  which will be the best for you.
