Although the new hostels are still building the earlier hostel are fully furnished with good furniture and 24 hours unlimited wifi and even a medical professional. There is a gym inside of our hostel and a salon. The campus is lush green and spread across a very large land
I am studying B.tech CSE (2019-23) and the faculties here are very good in teaching and helping students to increase their skill and knowledge in a domain. Our curriculum is well updated and focuses on new industry needs and requirements which makes us job ready.
VIT had set 2 times Limca book records for the highest number of placements through out the India, here the average package is 8 LPA and more than 90% of students are placed in more than 500 companies.
My course is 1.9 lakhs per anum and it is worth provided how different and good exposure they give you and opportunities they give to showcase your skills and talents.
Campus is lush green and fully wifi enabled. VIT organises many club activities and fests to freshen up our mood. Also they organise many workshops and competitions for our development. The location near campus is very good and refreshing. Teachers and staff all our friendly. The only this is you need to follow some rules and that is it.
The College Infrastructure is great. The infrastructure of the college gives great exposure to everyone to practice various fields. The College not only has good infrastructure for studying but also has amazing facilities for entertainment.
Teachers take good interest in teaching and the college is active with helping us with all our problems. Studying is fun here, we get to explore different fields and interests, subjects are exciting to study.
The Placements and packages offered are great. The College has a pretty good record with placements. The placements helps us with building our career. A lot of companies come for hiring and offer a lot of opportunity.
The overall course is also pretty fair.
Campus life is the best part, my experience has been amazing.
Pretty good, highly recommend.
College infrastructure is good and well maintained. Classrooms and laboratories are in well conditions, with every apparatus in working conditions. Sports area and hotels are really good. The condition and environment of overall college is well managed. Living spaces and outer area of college are cleaned and hygiene . The food quality of the mess is average with almost everything available to the students. The Wi-Fi system is good. Sports activities of this college is really maintained.
I am doing Btech from VIT and the overall quality of education is good with qualified teachers and professors. The curriculum of the college is well updates every single time. The recent developments in the field of engineering is well explained to me the professors of the college.
Quality of placements in VIT is not satisfying. With less numbers of recruiters arriving per year. Many of the well qualified students according to the latest fact couldn't able to get the desired job.
The cost of Btech course is one lakh twenty thousand. The quality of education is satisfying and hostel environment is good. But according to me how worth your money is depends on you completely. How are studying and well focused you are makes you successful . It depends from student to student.
Compass is always is okay with average infrastructure. Life overall in college is fine with proper safety for students as well as for the staff. Activities in the college is not too good. Emergencies kind of situations can be handled easily.
My life at the college is fine . Education is going good. Some of my senior friends did not get proper job after their Btech program. Yet some of them got good placements. The faculty and teaching program is well updated with proper smart board classes.
Yes, the college has pretty good facilities and necessary infrastructures. At times the equipments are not enough to meet the demand of number of students. The facilities in the classroom is amicable. Two students per bench with the teacher on a wooden stage make it comfortable for both to connect with each other. Laboratories have all the needed requirements and library is the best place to be for all the book lovers. Everything is well maintained. Yes, the food hygiene is maintained.
I am studying mechanical engineering. The quality of teaching is good with ample time given to each course. Students have flexibility in choosing the courses. Yes, the curriculum is updated and regularly checked. Yes, all the developments are usually addressed. The courses make us job ready by hands on experience and regular check of the knowledge. Almost all the students become ready to face the challenges of the corporate by the end of the college.
It has ne of the highest placement records in the country. The quality is awesome and mostly students are placed. More than 90% students are placed by the end. Highest package offered is 37 LPA and it went to a CSE student. The average salary offered is 5LPA. The placement process is easy and a good experience for almost all the students. Yes, the college was very supportive.
My course cost me 3 Lakhs per year. Yes, it is value for money with all the exposure and so many activities and fests involved other than the academics. Apart from education, the diversity of the campus gives a great exposure and memories in life and make us business ready for any circumstances.
Campus life is amazing with lot of diversity and well constructed infrastructures. The worst feature is the excess students they take in making it highly populated. Students are mostly friendly, with the teachers being a bit strict towards the deadlines. The support staffs are strict to maintain the decorum. The location is away from the town but can handle the emergencies as required due to good transportation.
If the students intake is controlled, VIT will by far become one of the best institutions in the world considering such quality of administration and management. Anyhow it gives its best to the students and leaves no stone unturned to make the college life full of adventures and memories.
Yes, college has all the required, updated infrastructure with enough space to perform the activities. All the equipments are upgraded tike to time. Classrooms have proper chairs and benches with occupancy of more than 60 students. There are various smart classes for visual learning classes a d auditoriums of various occupancy to conduct events and seminars. Hostel has a great ambience maintaining all the required hygiene. Food hygiene is given special concern and rarely there is any issue.
I studied mechanical engineering according to my interest. The quality of teaching is above average where students are imbibed with enough theoretical as well as practical knowledge simultaneously. Faculties are highly qualified mostly from IITs and are good in communicating. The curriculum is updated as we used to follow Fully Flexible Credit System, the same curriculum which is followed by some of the elite colleges around the globe. Yes, the courses are at per industrial requirements.
The quality of placement is excellent as almost all the students who sit for placement bag atleast 1 offer. Majority are offered with more than 1 job. Above 90 percent students are placed with the circuital branches bagging 100 percent placement. The highest package was 50 LPA offered to a CSE student. The average package offered is 5.5 LPA. The placement process was a big hectic as 3 to 4 companies used to visit on daily basis despite that it was pleasant. Yes, the college was very supportive
Per year cost was 4 lakh which was actually worth it. I had a lot of exposure with all the extra curricular activities and an updated academic system. The ambience was diverse and I had a blend of fun and career building at the same time. Having students from all over the globe, the college never felt being biased and had a good security management.
Campus life is amazing. The best feature is the diversity of people there coming from all over the globe. The disadvantage is the number of students they take in. Students can engage in all kind of activities they wish to participate like music, sports, organising events, debate, etc. Students are very keen and busy learning and teachers usually support the students except ttwo or three. The support staffs are strict. The location is great and even agter being in outskirts, rarely problem occurs
It was an amazing experience and VIT provides with the best over all development a student can get. Usually the management is a bit strict but it is necessary to maintain the decorum in the campus. Rarely anything indisciplinary incident happens and the friends are very supportive with supportive seniors and the proctor guiding all the way through.
Yes, the infrastructure of the college is superb, facilities provided by the college in classrooms are CalTech learning also the digital library going to be started very soon and the types of equipment in the laboratories are superb, and hostels are clean and the food is not so hygienic.
I am pursuing B.Tech from Computer Science and Engineering branch as my passion is to code and develop something attractive and also useful to everyone. Yes, all the things we used to study are more than enough for the best placements as our faculties are giving us qualitative knowledge, not quantitative knowledge.
Our college provides 100% placements as we have also observed this and this is true and all are getting placed in well-reputed companies also the average salary offered during this pandemic situation was 9.5 LPA and also the placement training provided by the college is more beneficial.
College resources are adequate despite the extremely high number of students. Sports facilities and hostels are as per standard options in the country. Library and academic facilities exceed some of the top facilities. Food is average.
The quality of teaching theoretically is average. Practical application is beyond the standard norms of the country, highly amplified due to the adequate infrastructure. Teacher to student ratio for classroom and labs is more than sufficient as well.
The 100% placement claim is true. Although it does include the mass placement offers which provide a substandard pay as per industry norms. Companies are diverse and so are the roles offered on campus.
Considering it is a private institute, the college offers a good RoI and one can expect to reach breakeven in 2 years. This of course varies on the basis of your placement. A need to increase revenue is what often dilutes the student quality.
Unfortunately, despite hosting a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere with students from literally every state of the country, and adequate events on campus, stringent norms crunch a bit of freedom on campus. The town is also dull.
Good infrastructure, decent food, good hostels. Library has good policy and many books, Open most times. Appreciate infrastructure and food choices. Wife variety both inside and outside college in nearby area.
Nice peers, okay teachers. Teaching us decent. Classes are regular. Up-to-date with technolgy. Too many tests. Lab works. Faculty research. Strict attendance. Projects. Assignment. Good curriculum. Updated industry visit.
Decent. Many companies. Support from placement committee. Different kind of companies. Could get better deal from some. But sincere effort. Towards the end everyone who say for placements had one or more offers.
Good
Exposure
Will recommend
Our college has a wide campus with all the basic facilities available. The infrastructre is widespread and the classrooms are wide and well- maintained. All our clasrooms are hygenic and clean. There are sports centres and libraries available for the students. There are many hostel blocks for girls and boys differently.
I am a student of chemical engineering and the quality of teaching is the best. All the faculties are dedicated in teaching and they have a very innovative way of teaching. Our professors make sure that the students are well aware of the subject and assignments beforehand.
VIT is known for its placements and academics. Many of our seniors got their dream job and are now placed in different countries. All the students who achieve more than the cut-off cgpa for placements and are well-dedicated to studying will surely be hired by any firm.
I am a student of chemical engineering and thus I think I am well-satisfied by the money charged by the college. Many hackathons and competitions are arranged by the college to make us understand the subject in an innovative way.
Campus life is the most interesting and fun-filled. There is a tech fest GRAVITAS and our cultural fest RIVERIA. We all students enjoy during these fests alot and get to learn also. Our campus has all the facilities for it's students.
The infrastructure of the college is very good and is well equipped. The laboratory facilities for the Engineering groups is very good in comparison to that of the science. But, it definitely is good. The hostels are well maintained and the food is of good quality and taste. There has been certain cases where the hygiene was compromised, but the caterer were changed immediately upon complaint.
I did my MSc in Biotechnology (integrated). The classes are flexible and is very different from that of a school. One can choose the subjects they want to take apart from the compulsory ones for.each course. The curriculum is not well updated with the recent developments. But it covers maximum of it.
The placements for Btech and MS software are very good. When it comes to Science and other Mtech courses, the number of companies are very less. The mass placements are by IT companies. The companies like Reddy Labs, Syngene and Molecular connections for Biotechnology comes to recruit but the competition is among all the Btech, Mtech and MSc Biotechnology students, making it little hard to crack.
Merit seats cost less than 50000 for the tuition alone. Yes, I do feel I got money's worth since I was given a good theoritical practical training.
The best features are the clubs in the campus. One can easily find things that interest. The worst feature is the campus timing. We are not allowed to go out of the campus for more than 2 hours in normal days and 6 hours during weekends. It is very strict that way.
