The food technology department of Vignan University is quite good. About the placements, the number of visiting companies has increased considerably in the past few years. In 2015, 32 companies had placed 519 students and in 2018 86 companies had placed 936 students. The top recruiters are TcS, Hyundai Mobis, Hyundai Motors, Future group, Darwin box, Nestway.

Vignan University is best for CSE Stream And Placements when compared to RVR and JC College Of Engineering. Because Vignan’s Foundation for science technology and research is rated as AAAA by Careers360. It is ranked at 107th by NIRF MHRD Government Of India For Engineering. It is has NAAC accredation too! The CSE stream is quite good. The tution fee is around 2,20,000/- per year. The hostel facility is provided to both boys and girls. The hostel fee is same for both boys and girls. The hostel fee is around 97,328/- per year. The CSE stream is well equipped with labs. The faculty are experienced and doctorates. Most of them systems are updated at labs. They run on the latest OS. The top companies that visit this university are:TCS, HDFC bank,Amazon,Genpact, Hyundai, Mindtree,Just dial, Axis bank, etc. The average pay package is 3 lakhs per annum. There are less chances for you to get a seat in RVR and JC college due to expected higher cutoff for the college because there last year's cut off was around 7000 rank. However, there are good chances for you to get a seat in Vignan's Institute of Information Technology - [VIIT], Visakhapatnam. Other colleges you can get a seat in:

Category a has fees of 130000 per year.

For category b it is 170000 per year.

The fee structure of Vignan University Guntur, M. Tech are as : 

• 1st year - INR 110,000
• 2nd year - INR 100,000

So,  the total of about INR 210,000 is required for the completion of M. Tech degree. The college is one of the good college in the area in the field of Engineering.

In Vignan University Guntur, the last date for the submission of M. Tech Application 2019 is - July 07  , 2019. 

M. Tech admission is offered under 2 section;

• Category A is on the basis of candidates performance in GATE / VUCET / PGECET with at least 50% marks in graduation. 
• Category B is on at least 50% aggregate marks in bachelor's level.

see every year the closing ranks are slightly changes , and it all depends on the question level difficulty , number of participants, seat matrix etc. you have not mention which subjects you are applying for. however the last year closing rank was 25000 higest. so you have fair chances.
