Eligibility Criteria

The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the B. Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10+2) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects.

Admission Details

The Convener allotted 70% of the seats, based on merit in the EAMCET (A-Category).
30% of the seats are earmarked for NRI/Management candidates (B-Category).
Admissions for Category – A seats are conducted by the Convener, EAMCET Admissions through web counseling based on the EAMCET rank of the candidates and the rules of reservation for admission into professional colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
B- The college management fills category seats following the guidelines stipulated by APSCHE, Hyderabad.
Candidates who have passed the two-year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education or its equivalent with not less than 45% of marks in the prescribed group subjects i.e. Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) are eligible for admission. However, the order of priority for the selection of candidates for admission is the rank in JEE (Mains), rank in EAMCET, and marks in the prescribed group subjects in the qualifying examination.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of Anantha Lakshmi Institute of Technology and Sciences, Anantapur is decent and suitable for engineering students. The campus has sufficient classrooms with proper seating arrangements, basic smart classroom facilities, and well-maintained laboratories for practical learning. The mechanical engineering labs have essential equipment that helps students understand core concepts. The library is spacious and provides academic books, reference materials, and a peaceful study environment. Hostel facilities are available with basic amenities, though there is scope for improvement in maintenance.
