The college library of Barasat College is located on the 2nd floor of the Main Building of the college. It consists of two dedicated wings- Library for Humanities and Sciences and the Library of Commerce. The library has a collection of more than 32,312 volumes of books and six titles of journals. The library provides a host of facilities to the users (both students and faculties). It offers a Reading Room facility that can accommodate over 50 users at a time. The functioning and management of the library are efficiently supervised by an active Library Committee which meets regularly to ensure optimum use of facilities and to frame policies for futuristic development. 

The College prides itself in the sports achievement of the students especially at the University level, District and State Levels. The Barasat College Sports Committee or Cell try to give ample opportunities and training for the students to excel in their accomplishments. There are notable achievements in the intercollegiate meet conducted by West Bengal State University. The sports Cell of Barasat College oversee the entire activities of the sports and games in the college. The JagritiMaidan is used for Football and Cricket training and also for athletic practice. College has also prepared courts for Badminton and Volleyball practices for the students.The composition of the committee compromises faculty members as coordinators. 

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college Stage has always been held in high regard at Barasat College. For an Educational Institution an auditorium is not just a venue for academic events, or merely a meeting place, it is a space where students and scholars congregate to celebrate, debate, discuss, and sometimes even mourn collectively. The Hall serves as the venue for seminars, cultural events, and film shows. The Auditorium provides a platform for creative, cultural, and social events, a legacy that Barasat College has always prided itself on. 

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The College possesses well-equipped laboratories in each discipline with all amenities related to UG courses – practical as well as research-based activities. Keeping pace with the practical of CBCS syllabus and with the advent of sciences, the college is trying to orient its own students and those of the other colleges along with the faculty members with up-to-date laboratory methodology by organizing various orientation programmes.  Necessary measures have been taken to procure required instruments, chemicals etc. for more enhancements of laboratories. 

The college has the main objective of the Gym is to help the students develop more  Psycho-corporeal strength and stamina in terms of their health and other activities. The workout in the Gym will enhance the overall development of the students as they will be exposed to many types of exercises to improve their fitness and endurance power. The basic aim of the Gym is to give the students a change from their regular timetable of studies and classes. It helps them to acquire more sports skills and makes them shine brighter in the field. The college has a well-equipped modern Gymnasium where the students improve their fitness by doing exercise regularly.

The college has primarily responsible for serving nutritious and hygienic food to the students and staff. It also serves meals to the students residing on the campus. There is a College Canteen which serves light refreshments and lunch to students and staff. During special occasions, the Canteen arranges a special menu as per request. The guests coming to the College are treated to special food prepared at our canteen. The meal service is to protect by reducing the risk of foodborne illness, with proper sanitary conditions, and preventing adulterated food.

The college has In a multifaceted endeavor to enrich the academic ambiance of the college, a Smart Classroom has been set up. It has got state-of-the-art equipment like a camera, Interactive Dashboard Censor, Projector, Amplifier, Wall mount speaker, Dual PA wireless Microphone, and Desktop Computer. The Smart Classroom is established with the aim of creating a global academic atmosphere for our students by collaborating with other reputed Colleges, universities, and research institutions. The idea is to share the classroom teaching/seminar/conference with these modern techniques.

The college has ICT tooled classrooms and easy access to computers and internet facilities for all the stakeholders (all academic and nonacademic sections) of an educational institution is the demand of the time. Barasat College is working on that direction.

The college, through its NSS unit, organizes regular health check-ups and medical camps for all the students of the college. A Medical Support Unit has been established at Barasat College. It provides basic medical facilities to the students, faculty and staff. This facility is ideal for regular health check-up and treating common medical issues like measuring blood pressure, cough and cold, indigestion, minor cuts, bruises, aches, pains, sports injuries and mild fever etc.The college also stocks emergency medicines for allergy, pain, fever, asthma, and other common ailments. The college is planning to tie-up with the nearest nursing homes to take care of the students in emergency.

The college has Career guidance and student counseling is an extremely broad and comprehensive concept, in order to implement this task effectively there are a number of factors that need to be taken into consideration. The guidance regarding one's career and the counseling of students involves a conversation between a career counselor; who should be an expert in his field, he should possess all the skills, abilities, knowledge, and information regarding the job openings, prospects, opportunities that are available and possess the ability to effectively communicate with the person who is seeking counseling and guidance.
