This college is located at Barasat near eleven number rail gate.It is build on a land of seven acres.This college has an entrance gate that is designed by Black Marble.At the top of the marble gate the word Barasat College is written in tin coating.The courtyard of the college is surrounded by earthenware pot plants kept near the wall.This college has a new building at the back which was attached with the main building in the front.

This college changed from Calcutta University to West Bengal State University before my time.I did normal Bachelors of Arts from this college I had History,Education, Environmental Science in three years.In Environmental Science I learnt about the various objectives of environment and how to keep the environment safe.In Education there was learning about education based on daily life.At that time I didn't have to do projects.At that time I had given first year test and annual exam then in second year and third year I gave only annual exam.

At that time there was less private job than government job.Most of the students studies for general course in Honours and Pass.At that time everyone prepared themselves hard to crack government job exam.At that time most of the people got government jobs.At that time students sit for government job.

At that time they took two thousand rupees in first year, second year and third year as I did Bachelor degree in arts normally.I got most of the advantage as my fees were less as I belongs to Scheduled Caste.They give books to the students for studying then after exam we have to return the books to college.

I didn't went to college very often.I went to college one day in a week.I went to college by riding ladies bycycle with my friends.Then I talked with my friends before the start of the class and then talked with seniors after the class.Then I went to home by bycycle with my friends and talked and went to home.

I will say all the best to the students who are going to take admission in this college.

This college had one building at that time which is sorrounded by a courtyard on its three sides covered by the college building.At the back there the construction of the new building was going on.At that time there was only B.Com and B.Com Honours in this college.There was a library in that college.It had a Canteen in that college in ground floor.It had a common room in the ground floor for students to spend free time.

At that time the college was affiliated to Calcutta University.Now this college is affiliated to West Bengal State University.I did B.Com from this college.At that time there Professors come to class and taught us Accounts and then went.In college hardly students did two to three periods after that the class becomes empty.At that time there I have given test exam in first year then annual exam.In third year and second year and third year they didn't take test only annual exam was taken.

In that college there was no placement benifits given by the college.At that time there was no classes taken properly everyday.They didn't prepare students for government job exams.Students completed their B.Com degree and they mostly do private marketing degree from outside private marketing coaching and they get job in private companies at that time.They saw the advertisement in newspaper and went to the adress and applied for it.

At that time as I belongs to Scheduled Tribe so there was discount for us they took one thousand three hundred for first year then in next year they took thirteen hundred ninety then other time they took thirteen hundred twenty.Then in third year they took fourteen hundred five hundred.They took two hundred thirty as admission fees.

In college I went to college sometimes like in first week I went to college two to three days and in the next week I did full absent.At that time there was no strict rule on attendance tha's why I didn't went to college on regular basis.I studied at tution and practiced accounts at home then went to the college on exam days.

I will say all the best to the students who are going to taken admission in this college.

Lots of improvement in infrastructure can be done. Class room needs to be fit with modern facilities , projector........Etc Auditorium needs to have with ample sitting capacity.... Canteen/food court required

Faculty member was excellent. This college is under barasat university....................... ........ Semester system is introduced recently.cource content required modification and soft skill development to be done

Placement facility was not available earlier although recently got some development in this field.....Need more industrial exposure student and collaboration with corporate required for better Skill development

No open space, amenities available

This college at my time it has one building with a courtyard in its front surrounded by the college building in its three sides.Now this college has extended its building at the back of the main building.At that time in the front building during the day science and arts stream classes were held and Commerce class was held during the evening. At my time there was no canteen and gym.Now it gives wifi service. Now it has a canteen and gym for students.

This college was affiliated to Calcutta University at my time.Now it is affiliated to West Bengal State University.At my time there was only B.Com honours in Accountancy.Now they have two specializations that is B.Com in Accountancy Honours and B.Com in Marketing Honours.At my time there we have to take either English or Bengali in B.Com in both honours and general.B.Com for general it was three years program and for honours it was three years program. In B.Com I had subjects like Accountancy,Business Organization,Business Mathematics and Statistics,Economics along with that any one subject English or Bengali.

During that time there was no placement opportunity given by this college.I applied for job at a Export company by seeing advertisement on newspaper. That time students complete their B.Com degree in honours or general and then they prepare thereselves for government jobs.Then they used to sit for the government job.The students who were more interested in getting more knowledge they go or higher studies like M.Com.

At that time they took three thousand rupees as college B.Com fees and exam fees was included in that.At our time it was very less fees they took if I compare them with the private college. At that time they gave reference book to the students from library for free.The students have to read those books and they have to return those book after the final year exams.

At that time I didn't go to college on a daily basis.All students buy books and used to study at home and they used to go to tution and study.There are very few students who went to college on a daily basis.At that time we used to go to college two days a week like that.When we went to college we played carrom and sometimes we played table tennis in college with my friends.

This college has two buildings in total one is at the front which has a courtyard sorrounded by the three sides of the building which is for science and arts and another one building at the back that is for Commerce students.This college has a Gym for students to maintain physical fitness in the ground floor in the first building.It also has a canteen for students to have lunch.It also provides wifi facility for students to access free internet on smart phone.

This college is affiliated to West Bengal State University.This college offers B.Com honours and B.Com general and it provides two specialisation in Marketing and Accounts.They give specialisation in third year.This college also offers science and arts in undergraduate degrees.They offer general and honours in undergraduate in Science subjects like physics chemistry.In arts like English, Bengali and History.The question paper is set by West Bengal State University.

In this college there is no placement.This is a government college and they don't offer placements like private colleges.The students who study in government colleges they mainly prepare for government job exams.They apply in government job exam like Bank provisional officer and other posts in bank.They might opt for Securities Exchange Board of India Exam which is a well known government exam.

In this college they took two thousand rupees as admission fees.They take upto two thousand five hundred in every semester that vary according to the semester.They took five hundred rupees as exam fees for every semester.In college I got free wifi but they give one gigabyte to every student's to use every day.In that college we can do gym for free as college students to maintain physical fitness.

My campus life spend quite well.In college while going to college I used to join with my college friends and I went to college talking with them about everyday life.When i reached college I used to stand with my friends in the courtyard and wait for the class to start as when the class finish then only all could enter the class.In college they organise Inter College Football Tournament.I participated in inter college football tournament and I won the inter college football tournament in second year which was memorable to me still now.

Our college consists of one building with a courtyard in the middle sorrounded by three sides.In the Courtyard students talk before and after the class.Our college has projectors and sound system so that we can experience visual learning.It has a common room inside the college in first floor for students to seat and spend free time with friends after class.It also has a canteen for students to have lunch in the ground floor.

This college is affiliated to West Bengal State University.It has all types of courses.At first it was opened for B.Com now it have all subjects in science stream and arts stream.In this college they offer B.Com honours in Accountancy as well as Marketing u can take amy one of them.Our professors are very good they teach very well and helps us in doing the project.

In our college placement is not like private colleges.But our professors were very friendly they guide us when to apply for the government job applications.They always inspired us to do well in the government jobs and they guided us how to practice.

In this college the semester fees vary they may take three thousand in the first semester and then five thousand in the second semester and again three thousand in the third semester and then four thousand in the next.They take a exam fees of one thousand per semester exam.

We spend a good time at the college.We have fun with our friends sometimes in the Courtyard and sometimes in the common room.We also talk with our friends in the canteen.We also talk with our seniors to gain real life and professional knowledge.

This college has one building and it has a courtyard in the entrance where students talk with their friends.At our time there were five labs for zoology , botany , chemistry, biology and computer lab.The classroom were very good with proper wooden bench.

At my time the college was affiliated to Calcutta University.I have done B.Sc with subjects zoology, botany and chemistry.We did lots of fun doing practical in Zoology lab.We did experiment of cockroach and frog in our lab.Our professors were very good they helped us in doing project works also They gave us all types of suggestions that can come in the exam.But now this college is affiliated to West State University.

In that time there was no placement like private colleges.I used to study for government job exam at home in third year.In B.Sc most of the students opted for research in their specific subjects.The professors guided us for applying in government job exams.

They used to take one thousand rupees for us per year.They took four hundred rupees per exam as exam fee.We used to enjoy while professors taught us zoology and botany.First they used to teach us then they took us to lab.

We spend a good time at the campus during the college time we discuss with our friends about the science topics and our daily lives.We kept touch with our seniors.We used to talk to them after the end of all the classes.We used to gather their experience by keeping good relation with them.

This college has wifi across the campus,well equipped science and computer labs,a library with extensive resources,seminar halls and amenities like a canteen common rooms,CCTV surveillance and sports facilities.It has well furnished classrooms.It has various streams like B.Sc , BA and B.Com honours.

This college offers Undergraduate and Post Graduate Courses in arts , science and commerce.It was mainly of B.Com honours and now it has arts and science.This university is affiliated by West Bengal state University.It has subjects like Bengali, History, English in Arts and Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Computer Science, Zoology.Our professors gives us all types of questions that can come in the exam.They guide us while doing the projects and explains each and every topic very clearly.

This college doesn't have strong campus placement.It primarily offers career guidance through its Counselling Cell, organizing webinars and training for corporate skills,The professors guide students to get job to private companies through sources and connections.They guide students for government job exams.

They take an approximate of six thousand rupees in year as our was year system.They took one thousand five hundred five hundred for exam.They teach us well.They do fests.They brings some famous singers for freshers party for students.

We spent a good time in gossiping with friends and seniors and we discussed various topics regarding daily day to day examples and study topics.The professors shared their real life experience with us.They bring famous singers during college fest like Mahammad Irfan.

I would say all the best to the students who are going to take admission in this college.

This is one of the best Commerce college in Barasat area among Kolkata. In this college the classes were good at our time. The classes were good and well furnished. At this time there were canteen. Now there are good classrooms with computer labs and laboratories etc. In the college there is a small courtyard where we used to talk with our friends at the time of off periods after the class. It was a good environment at our times so we enjoyed most.

In our college at our times it was a commerce college at that time. There was B.Com Accountancy honours and now they offer two specialisations accountancy and marketing with Operations Management and Business Mathematics on side. Our professors were very good and helpful. They used to guide us in our academics and they also guide us about hiw we can pursue our career and get the best job

At our college that time the placements were not there. Our professors use to guide us to sit for the banking exams as we were in finance in B. Com honours. So we have given government banking exams at that time. The professor used to guide us about the exam guide lines of tge government job exams and according to that we used to apply for the exam.

At our college at that time the fees were approx thirteen rupees. Now it takes twelve thousand for admission and it takes exam fees of one thousand in that college. It's ok for everyone. We were very much happy with the college fees they used to take at our time and it takes the same amount of money now compared to at our time and now in this present time.

Our campus life was very good all the classes were of good value. We learnt a lot in the college classes the professors used to teach us very well in that a good manner. After our class we used to discuss about that topics with our friends so to gain better knowledge and gain more experience by relating those topics with our friends. Then after our class and off periods we used to talk with our friends abd we had a good time in our college

I would like to say that if now this college try to bring the specialisation of supply chain and logistics management and technology management in these college in B.Com honours along with finance and marketing then it will be easier fir students to study B.Com with this specialisations

The college has the necessary infrastructure needed for the students to enjoy their time being in college, the library and laboratory had all the necessary books and items to use. They books and items were well maintained.

I enrolled in B.com (Marketing), so till the last year i.e., 5-6 semester whole b.com syllabus was same. The teachers were friendly and helpful. The curriculum is well versed it includes all the recent developments.

Since its a college affiliated with government college, sadly it does not provide placement. Just the education, its exam result and certificate. Even though it does not provide placement, it offered us to get the knowledge for the education.

The course fee per semester was low. Yes, i felt i got the money's worth and got enough support from the teachers and the staff.

The college campus was not big but was spacious enough. The classrooms were big. The teacher and staff are very supportive towards the student.
