BRD College, Roorkee, is one of the reputed educational institutions of Uttarakhand.  The college provides a wide variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across disciplines.  The admission process at BRD College is thorough and merit-based and attempts to select motivated, capable students for its programs.

For most courses offered by BRD College, the admission process is usually in two major stages - a written test at the college level and a personal interview.  This allows the institution to analyze both the academic ability and personal traits of the students who have applied.  The final outcome of the selection process is done on the basis of the written test and interview combined performance.

Eligibility criteria are different according to the particular program.  Generally, students must have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board for undergraduate programs.

Application Procedure:

The application procedure for BRD College, Roorkee, includes numerous steps:

1. Visit the official BRD College website to access the online application form.

2. Fill in the application form accurately in terms of personal and academic detail. Please complete all necessary fields

3. Pay the fees for the application as indicated by the college. The amount may vary for program choice

4. Submission of the duly filled application form with all the required attachments i.e.:

• Photographs of passport size
• 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
• Grad mark sheets and degree certificate (for other courses, e.g., postgraduate programs)
• Valid ID proof

5. After submission, eligible candidates will be called for the college-level written test. Candidates will be tested for their academic aptitude and subject knowledge for the respective program taken up.

Degree wise Admission Procedure

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration): The basis for admission to the BBA program at BRD College is a written examination and personal interview held by the institute.  Merit will be considered basing the final selection on both components.

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) : The admission process for the BCA will probably be the same as for other undergraduate courses, which has written tests and personal interviews entitlement.

B.Sc of Information Technology: The admission for B.Sc IT is directed through the general admission process of the college, which includes written examinations followed by personal interviews.

B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce): Candidates interested in getting admission into the B.Com program must undergo both the written test and the personal interview that will be organized by the institute.  The final selection is made entirely on a merit basis after considering the performances put forth on the two components.

M.Com (Master of Commerce): M.Com being a Master's level course has more additional conditions for admission. Interested candidates are advised to check with the college counseling office for further details.

BHM (Bachelor in Hotel Management): For BHM, the admission process consists of the Written examination and Personal Interview by -Institute.  It applies to all as to how candidates will be selected by merit based on performance in both components.
