BWDA Arts and Science College, Villupuram Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

BWDA College of Arts and Science commenced its inception in Villupuram. The college has diversified its curricular schedule to provide undergraduate and postgraduate courses in arts, sciences, and commerce. The mode of admission is simple and made more convenient for students aspiring for admission.  The admission procedure for BWDA Arts and Science College takes place every year, mostly for sessions starting in June or July.

Eligibility criteria would differ depending on the course being offered. To generalize, for undergraduate courses, students must have completed their schooling, namely 10+2, from a recognized board of education. In the case of the postgraduate courses, a bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline is warranted.

4) Submission of application: Completed application forms with attached required documents should be submitted to the college admission office within the assigned date limit.

5) Application fees must be paid as per the college directives; mode of payment description is optional-Cash/Demand Draft/Online-which could be confirmed from the admission office.

6) Candidates will be assessed based on merit, with regard to qualifications possessed and relevant criteria of each individual program concerning admission.

7) Declaration of the merit list-candidates' names for admission will be embedded in merit lists displayed on the notice board or website of the college.

8) The shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of documents in the college.

9) Thereafter, the last step of payment of the requisite fee along with other charges against acceptance confirms their admission.

10) An orientation program will follow, commenced with classes as mentioned in the academic calendar.

Admission Process Degree-wise

B.Sc Programs: BWDA Arts and Science College promotes B.Sc degrees in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Chemistry. Admissions to these programs are based on the academic performance in the 10+2 examinations, somewhat biased toward science subjects. The fee structure for Undergraduate courses is B.Sc programs Rs 42000-Rs 55000.

B.Com Programs: B.Com correspondingly Computer Applications are two B.Com programs offered by the college, whose admission would probably consider weights for commerce-related subjects in the 10+2 examination. The B.Com fee structure is from Rs. 42000 to Rs. 46000.

BA Programs: The college offers a BA in Economics and English. Admission to the program is based on the relevant subjects and performance of the candidates in the 10+2 examination. Approximately Rs. 42000 is the average fee of the BA programs.

BBA Alternates: BBA is another degree program. Admission will probably be based on 10+2 aggregate but may give weightage to mathematics and computer science for BCA.

M.Sc programs: Postgraduate programs include Computer Science, Mathematics, and Chemistry. A relevant bachelor's degree is generally required for entering these programs. M.Sc fee generally lies in the range of Rs. 42000-Rs. 55000.

MA in English: This program is offered by the college with entry probably based on the applicant's performance in English Language and Literature.

M.Com: Candidates who completed their undergrad study with B.Com or relevant related degrees can apply for admission into Master in Commerce programs.

MSW: Master of Social Work programs are open to eligible candidates with a relevant bachelor's degree in social sciences or related areas.
